Senior Marshall University commit Cody Mitchell has 703 yards with 47 carries for a 14.9 average.

Junior back Grant Safford has 45 carries for 627 yards for a 13.9 average.

Offense line is led by 6'8 320 pound junior Marshall commit Seth Stewart.

Marshall recruit senior Cody Mitchell broke the career rushing mark at PPHS, topping Dusty Higginbotham's late 90s run.

He now has 3369 yards.

Junior running back Cody Mitchell continues to add onto an amazing resume for his career. Last week, he scored 7 touchdowns in a game, all in the first half. 5 rushing, 1 receiving, and 1 interception return. This was a new school record.

Seems like forever since the last game.

63-8 was the final, same score that was at halftime. Second half was shortened.

After the game, a pretty spectacular presentation happened as both communities joined together to help out the Smith family who lost two children, Tiffany Grant, who was 26, and Braxton Smith, who was 11, in a tragic house fire last weekend. Tre Smith - a 14 year old - is still fighting for his life...

They barely beat Lincoln the other night. Lincoln is really bad. A lot of ppl from that area don't think they are very good this year according to boards (Tolsia, that is).

Good to see a lot of the other players step up. A big scoring weapon graduated with all time scoring leader Dillon McCarty graduating so finding the offense to replace him is key.

Good to see kids like Nick Templeton hit double figures in his first game. He's a senior who hasn't played.
