Unlike Ohio our referees are assigned by an assigning secretary. We have no control over who we get. We had a crew from Lexington a few years ago. At West the referees walk right out of the house and onto the field. We have 4 wr that can take it to the house. Another just got eligible for this game...

West is tough. Could go either way. But this time I’m taking raceland in a close game. Well we aren't playing at Raceland this year so we won't be cheated like we were last year. The next few weeks I believe will tell us a lot. As of right now I don’t think so. I think west and waverly would have the best shot at it. A loss to Raceland won’t make me say no for sure , but that will be a gut check game.

Hard fought win for West in this game. A few things that stood out to me. 1. West has a stout defense, completely taking Parker out of the game was huge. 2. Anyone else think this would be a fun game to have a trophy to play for every year? Always a big crowd , early season, non conference rivalry game. West and Burg started the “Halloween bowl “ trophy idea several years ago and I like the idea.
