Re: New Baseball Coach At Notre Dame

I think Drew will do a great job with the kids. He knows the game well. I think this is a great opportunity for a young guy to start his coaching career. Do a lot of the basketball guys play baseball as well?

I have not seen Jackson play, but i have seen Waverly and Portsmouth both. Should be a great match up between the two if they were to meet up.

Re: 2012-2013 Notre Dame Titans

Will the game Friday with SV be a good one? Thinking about making the trip up Sunrise avenue to catch this one, just wondering if it will be worth my time. ND has a very solid team and looks great at times.

Looks like some good teams playing in the tournament. Did waverly play Portsmouth and/or Jackson in the regular season? How did they do against them?

Re: Eastern Boys JR High Tourn?

Travel shouldn't be the issue, teams travel during the regular season. A few extra games shouldnt break you. I would love to see a SOC tournament. and as far as having two separate tournaments, the small schools used to play in the tournament at Webster. I remember green making it to the championshi...

Re: Ironton- Zac Carter -New All Time Career Points Leader

Carter is a great basketball player, its a shame he isnt getting more looks than he is. Any word of what his plans are for the future? He seems to really like the rims at the convo, he would be a good replacement for cooper. Just a thought.

Re: Eastern Boys JR High Tourn?

Why doesn't Webster invite Waverly to their tournament? Did Waverly make them mad in the past or something and they are holding a grudge? Did Waverly ever play in the county tourament when it was at Valley? I agree, the SOC should have a tournament like the SVC, gets the kids the experience of a tou...

Re: 2-11 South Webster at Minford

That wasn't the only called that went in favor of the Falcons by that guy during that stretch. I am not saying they were bad calls or anything, but they could have changed things a little. But you are right, it was a game changing play. I was a not a fan of either team, and i thought the ball hit th...

Re: Portsmouth Clay 8th Grade Boys

How deep is clay? I know their top players are pretty good. Do they have much of a bench? If they arent very deep, do they play zone to prevent foul trouble? Has anyone seen them play?

Re: Portsmouth Clay 8th Grade Boys

They have a few talented pieces and they do work hard. I saw a few of them play this summer, Gilliland and Hinze (sp??) are solid players. Throw King at guard into the mix and you have a good core to build around. I hope to see them improve and make the League a little more competative.

Ironton will most likely win this game, but they will have to earn it. The oaks will have a game plan. is fletcher 100%?
