The Falcons defeated the visiting Wheelersburg Pirates 18-0. Minford drove the length of the field against the Pirates pretty well the first series, but Burg clamped down defensively and held Minford at the 4 on downs. The Pirates had success on first down plays, but couldn't score. Big play of game...

It was a close game last year, with the Falcons winning by 8, but being the home opener and 50 year anniversary of Minford football, the Falcons spirit will be I think too overwhelming for the Rockets.
