Re: WEEK 9 --(4-4) IRONTON @ (3-5) GALLIPOLIS. OVC ACTION.
I know it is not what they want to do as a program but if they want any chance against ironton. They need to open up the offense from the first series. I hate the thought of mccellend throwing the ball 50 to 60 times but if you want to win next week I think that is your game plan. Blue Devils have s...

Re: Wk 8: Portsmouth @ Fairland
Portsmouth is pretty healthy Parker might not be 100% rest of year. But from what I here he is about as healthy as he is going to get about 90 to 95% of himself.

Re: WEEK 8 (4-3) IRONTON @ (6-1) COAL GROVE.
i think we still dont have any idea how good grove is or is not. Probably still the best team they have beat is portsmouth. and ironton hasn't played them yet. I think coal grove is pretty good but i do not know that they are let's see them here and against fairland and we will figure it out. The bl...

Re: wk8 Gallia Acadamy @ Rock Hill
blue devils will not be same the rest of season. Campbell the main running back almost 700 yards first 6 games and blue devils leading tackler had season ending surgery last week. My understanding is he will not be cleared for basketball season either. Blue devils other problems are concussion probl...

Re: What makes a good Head Football Coach.
I think number one is being a great communicator, and being able to relate to the community and today's players. Second is being a good judge of character so you can tell if your coaches are going to be all in on your program and third be a good administrator and organizer. Because the way things ar...

Re: OVC WK7 Coal Grove (5-1) @ Gallia Academy (3-3)
Good win by Coal Grove. Gallia Academy really missed jacob campbell and Logan rose tonight. Blue devils need to find a compliment back to pullins maybe armstrong or call can run some plays out of backfield he is a good power back but just a little to slow with our undersized line. Blue devils played...

Re: OVC WK7 Coal Grove (5-1) @ Gallia Academy (3-3)
Blue devils suffered a big blow to offense and defense this week. Jacob campbell out for rest of season.
And blue devils did not tackle very well last week. that game and jackson game both were poor tackling technique games.

no offense but isn't that coal groves best win so far also? even though i think portsmouth a better team then chesapeake.Ohiosportsfan wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2017 7:40 pm Gallia is a much improved team compared to the last few years. But I am still waiting to see them beat a legit team. Chesapeake is their best win and even they are just 3-3.

Re: OVC WK7 Coal Grove (5-1) @ Gallia Academy (3-3)
Trust me Gallia academy preparing for run and pass. Coal grove has a very effective passing game. Nice and solid. Blue Devils will have a defensive campaign to deal with both. The biggest question mark in my mind is how does coal grove deal with broken plays. If they are explosive and make a lot of ...

Re: How do you feel about areas around Ohio in small areas with multiple schools forming one county school?
I mean I am all for consolidating when consolidating makes sense. But I think the first thing would be to consolidate would be school districts I think we should only have one school district per county. Then I think there should be open enrollment between all counties and some counties should give ...

Re: How do you feel about areas around Ohio in small areas with multiple schools forming one county school?
Not many people seem to know this but Gallia academy sports are 100% self funded. They do not use 1 penny of the school board budget to operate. That is part of the reason our athletes band members and cheerleaders have paid a participation fee for a long time. Now when I say 100% self supported tha...

"Look at Gallia Academy, shutting down their athletics very soon because they don't have the funds in the budget" Where did that info come from, Ironmen#2588? I was told from a very good family friend that lives in gallia. very reliable source. I hope it doesn't happen galliagrad78, galli...

Re: Wk 7 Coal Grove (5-1) @ Gallia Academy (3-3)
Another step of rebuilding the program. Bouncing back after a disappointing loss for the Blue Devils. I see coal grove as a much better fit for coal grove then fairland. Coal grove is very talented but also very disaplined in there offensive schemes. Coal grov the favorite item but the this will be ...

I am sure that in some cases. You are correct. But when you piut 10 chips with number in bag and pull the number then everyone who ends with that social security number goes. That is random.

Re: South Point Football
Also at my work we used to random drug test. We would be testing about 25 employees a month. Now we do mandatory once a quarter unannounced. So that is about 250. Per quarter the difference in between randomly testing 75 employees and testing 250 all on one day only raised costs about 30% a quarter....
