Yep time to move on,,these things don't mean much other than the QB getting his timing down with the recievers,most real games are won at the line of scrimmage with pads on.Hard to tell how good a team is with these things.

Knowing his dad he's got him working hard.He is also concentrating on soccer at the same time,but I agree that Perry did get it going in the right direction,people have told me his film study was incredible.Amyx always credited most of what he knew to Perry and some to Snipes and Coate.

no reply are you sure your not including reserve plays in your synopsis i only counted the varsity,, I had a notebook writing down each time a team had a td or int and didn't write any ints down in the alex game until the reserves played.varsity only played two series then they called in the reserve...

I think he started that year(84) as a sophmore,they still weren't very good that year then Perry came in and it changed for the better,I'm pretty sure he got some carries late in the Gallia game the year before when he was freshman.

The Miller game was 1982,the next year against Gallipolis I'm pretty sure some freshmen got in for mop up in the 4th quarter and they also traveled to Welcome stadium that year,I remember Coach Coate in the lockerroom after the Dunbar game saying I want everyone of you underclassmen to remember this...

The two times I saw Jurgensmire play last year Sheridan and Pick North he didn't look very good,hopefully this year he will be different,good point about the center but someone will step up I;m sure.I just wonder where Cavinee will line up,,,RB is his natural positon.

Amyx probably wanted to maximize the talent he already had these last few years getting them the most reps and getting the timing down early on for a long state run,,it will be really interesting to see what happens now I can't wait!
