Re: Muskingum Valley League

Looks like Maysville has a little ways to go yet,Tri-Valley must be the real deal,I might have to see that goliath battle with Sheridan, its getting bigger every week.

Re: Week 2: Logan (0-1) @ Pickerington North (0-1)

That is why "open enrollment" must end. NOPE - It's GREAT that parents are now able to pick and choose from multiple PUBLIC school options for their kids as well as PRIVATE [tuition charging] schools. Why must where I live lock in [or exclude] my child's access to other nearby public scho...

Re: Week 2: Logan (0-1) @ Pickerington North (0-1)

C-Bolt - No, North opened in 2003 and it was several years later that they lost some really KEY players. It was the 2006, 2007, and 2008 teams at Central that really benefited from transfers. Zach Boren (now starting at Ohio State) transferred (DURING HIS SEASON) after his freshman year at North. R...

Re: Week 2: Logan (0-1) @ Pickerington North (0-1)

Can't believe I actually fooled myself into thinking Logan would keep this close and I got to be brutally honest if North hadn;t shot themselves in the foot with all them penalties this would have been much worse on the scoreboard, its a miracle but I don't remember Logan having more than 2 or 3 pena...

Re: Week 2: Logan (0-1) @ Pickerington North (0-1)

Poor ole Reynoldsburg same ole story every year losing great players to other schools..Locos who was the stud running back they had on their awsome freshman team last year? Did he stay with Reynoldsburg? When I was a member of the puddle I kept up on that but there isn't much going on with Central ...

Re: Muskingum Valley League

My guess is Maysville is getting all this attention because of their coach Whit Parks, whose been known to get teams turned around pretty quick,I also believe the gridrion glory show said they have alot coming back,I personally would like to see them make some noise with the big 2 and shock a few peo...

Re: Paladin's Pigskin Picks --Wk 2

Yea the defense is what worries me,they just don't look the same as years past,I think the offense can probably keep it close though.,the toughest pick for me was the Jackson-Waverly game,,I knew Jackson wouldn't be that good after witnessing their reserves last year and losing their QB but I never ...

Re: Paladin's Pigskin Picks --Wk 2

Just hope Pickerington isn't real speedy,Logan will have major problems with teams like that this year,Norths recievers don't look as tall on paper as I thought they might except the tight end so that will help, but I really think Logan can keep it close and I also think West will beat Portsmouth but...

Re: New Ironton vs. Logan series: Will this happen?

Even Michigan fans don't keep bringing up how they own Ohio State in the all time time series, they know the reality of the current series but some I-town fans just can't get it out of their minds how Logan has owned their great program of late, let it go, its all over with ,maybe Ironton would beat L...

Re: New Ironton vs. Logan series: Will this happen?

Frankly, I like playing the D-I schools, especially those that aren't the usual Champs ( Coffman, Davidson, UA,etc). Makes for good competition, great computer points and gets good crowds from Logan interested. Top D-2 programs too like New Albany, Big Nut. Thats who Logan is. May as well play. It ...

Re: Week 2: Logan (0-1) @ Pickerington North (0-1)

Lancaster didn't look as big as I thought they would,Lancaster had some lanky looking and better overall team speed and pursuit players, but weight wise Logan was just as big if not bigger at least it looked in my eyes and not sure about the strength but I heard Jones and Harris works them hard.I kn...

Re: Does your school dress freshmen for varsity games?

I was shocked to see Logan dress their freshmen for the Lancaster game. That's the first time I ever saw them do that although I am not an old-timer with the Logan program. I don't know if it was a one-game thing or if Coach Wolfe is trying to start a new tradition as part of his taking over the pr...

Re: Week 2: Logan (0-1) @ Pickerington North (0-1)

Norths passing game is what scares me,they have two huge recievers and in the reserve game last year their QB could wing it and run, and they always have a big physical line but I actually think Logan can keep it close, I'm going with North in 28-21, home field will help.

Re: Week 1: Lancaster AT Logan

Same here Locos, much better than I was thinking might happen like the 38-0 shellacking years ago when we thought we were pretty good, the defense is a big worry speed seems to be lacking swarming to the ball and helping out tackling like we've witnessed the last 4 years,I watched the replay and notic...

Re: Week 1: Lancaster AT Logan

Refs were bad both ways tonite IMO,Logan's first touchdown was beneficiary of a horrible call against the defensive back who a few plays before the td had great postion to intercept the long ball but the reciever tackled him to keep him from intercepting and somehow they call it on the defensive bac...
