Re: Belpre @ Fort Frye Nov 30th Opener
Don't believe sitting two starters for disciplinary reasons helps the team. That isn't fair to the rest of the team and put Belpre in a hole it never could get out of.Discipline those players in practice and don't hurt the rest of the team in the games. Could be the dumbest post ever. This is why so...

Re: Eastern Eagles 2012-2013
FF ? And what role ? Fairfield. Everyone can't be the superstar, just be content with being on a good team and contribute what you can. We don't need to start this stuff of this kid is better than that kid. If a kid is really better you won't have to get on here and tell people they will know by ho...

Re: Eastern Eagles 2012-2013
To say this year's team is better than last year's team is a dumb statement in itself. Last year's team made it to a regional final, this team has done nothing yet. Just be content to play your role and maybe this team can have success like last year. I'm guessing FF will have a say in that.

Re: Eastern Eagles 2012-2013
At previews we looked more like a team then we have in any scrimmage i understand that burg didn't show a whole lot buthat was the best I had seen us we are gonna be tough to guard inside and out especially if Lands and Lightle got hot from outside from what I have seen from Lightle is when hes hot...

Re: GAHS basketball 2012-2013
I bet if you look back at how the teams did in the summer league you will find that their season reflects how they did. Why did GAHS even get in the summer league if it didn't mean anything? One thing you count on is people whose team doesn't play well in shoot outs and summer ball saying it doesn't...

Re: GAHS drops two close games at Jackson
Going 0-10 in a league where most of the teams are in a smaller division than your team is getting slapped in the face. I am not so sure that Div. size matters that much in Basketball, with only 5 players on the court. I think that there are posters on this site that like to "slap" GAHS &...

Re: GAHS drops two close games at Jackson
Losing to Symmes Valley and Beaver in the Jackson League isn't a slap in anyone's face. Both teams should be pretty good this season. if you are a D2 school losing to Symmes Valley it is a slap in your face. It is not like Symmes Valley is a D4 basketball power house. Beaver on the other hand comin...

Not looking good for a D2 team to be losing to D4 teams especially ones that aren't that good.

Re: Waverly Basketball - Varsity Shootout - June 16
Pfloyd give us your take on the games. This will be the first year in quite a while I haven't been able to watch any local shoot outs. I went to this one last year and watched some of the best players in the area. I think there were 5 District POY that played in this last year. Pfloyd I hope you get...

Re: ALL-SOUTHEAST DISTRICT TEAMS (all divisions)
Nice list of players not a big difference in talent 1-19 all are good players. Maybe we can take those six underclassmen on your list and put them all on the same team next year so we in SEO can have a chance to win a state title.

Re: Question for District 13 writers
I have to agree with SOCFAN1430 I have watched all 3 D4 players of the year and didn't really see much difference. Jimmy if there is a talent gap in district 13/14 it would have to be in D2. Eastern Pike won the district in D4 and Chesapeake played with everyone in D3.

Re: manchester@eastern pike d-4 regional semi final
IMO Eastern Pike is not as good as Southern or South Webster which Manchester already beat. Lands is a nice player but so was Roseberry and Loop who were both district POY. I have to think with Manchester's tournament experience they take this game. This game will give Eastern Pike a chance to get p...

Re: Manchester vs South Webster District Championship
I will have to hand it to Manchester they have had to beat FF in sectional, #1 seeded Southern and #2 seeded South Webster in the disticts. They have certainly earned their trip to the regionals. I thought all along the top three D4 teams were Manchester, South Webster and Southern. I also thought t...

Lets hope the game will still be at the Convo. I will take SW big in this game.
