Visiting Chesapeake captured a double-header victory over the Gallipolis 7th and 8th graders on the Washington School hardwood Thursday evening. Dragons that good!

Fairland will present several teams problems this winter. Unless they have injuries or other problems, they should repeat as OVC champions, not only this year, but next year as well.

Jackson 37 Gallipolis 33

Visiting Jackson rallied from a 11-4 first period deficit to down the GAHS Blue Angels in the SEOAL South Division opener for both schools.

Gallipolis dropped to 1-1 overall while Jakson improved to 2-0.

Gallipolis won the reserve game, 37-35.

Jackson-Circleville

Pfloyd...Talked to former JHS and GAHS cage coach Heath McKinniss last week during scrimmage at Rio, and he said the Nov. 28 game with Circleville on a Wednesday was correct.

Pigskin...Superblue was probably referring to some scores of last year's state tournament...That was two of 16 games...I'll have to get my 2006-07 program out and post the other scores.

Attend state tournament

Superblue...One of the years, if you ever get out of Gallia County, go to a state tournament game and see what type ball those teams play at the Shott. You'd probably be bored to death.
