Was told the toughest thing about Monroe Central is finding a seat in the gym. It was packed last season every game.
With entire team back this year you'd better get there by reserve tip off. What a homecourt advantage they'll have .

Club volleyball has ruined girls basketball. Schools are lucky to have enough for varsity. Most have 8 to 10 players.
Beallsville has to cancel its girls season.

Game is Valentine's night at River.
Both won their conference and rated in MaxPrep.

Watched River game. Pilots had strong second half after down 19-15 @ halftime.
Think River has makeup game with Waterford left.
Caught end of Beallsville game. Those girls were hot at foul line.

When it comes to the state tournament, I've seen more games at St. John Arena than the Schott. Seating 10x more comfortable, parking closer to arena easier, and the ushers not as uptight. With attendance more or less a 10,000 and under from here on out, it'd be cooler to see it filled. And who cares...

Luckily, I sold all my books Wednesday night and got the heck outta town! Then, i saw the paid attendance for today's 1st game (7000+).
