wow hawkeye you seem to know a lot about people and why they do or do not coach.

Some coaches do not bail every time talent is down. If your any type of coach you stay through good and bad don't you.

Coach Jordan has the quality of getting his players to play hard and be tough. Some other coaches don't have that quality no matter how many football players you put on the floor, they just go out on the football field and win and go through the motions in basketball.

Logan coach does a fine job and so does the staff he has. The problem is inconsistancy. If you notice, the same quality of athletes seem to really focus when it comes to football to focus for every play but when it comes to basketball they are not the same team night in and night out. I think Logan, just because they are D1 think they have great basketball players and that is not the case.

Winning would help that, but that would take TIME. Would Jackson give a coach enough time to build a winning tradition. They have had alot of coaches the last five years. They need a class that is tough and young. A class that doesn't put up with losing that will help Jackson more than one year.

Ironman101 lives in Jackson, matter of fact, huge Jackson Ironmen fan. She is a huge football fan but has quit going to alot of games to tend to her flower garden. Basketball has became her joy because of the indoor season and fancy uniforms.

Jackson needs to put alot of time into the lower levels or have a talented class come through to get things rolling. The issue is keeping a coach long enough to develop anything. A coaching staff that stays together for a period of time usually starts a good program.
