These cuts that the Governor is making is going to be bad for Southern Ohio. It will force us to do one of two things: 1. Just quit and become a 100% welfare region or 2. Finally stop relying on the State and the Federal Govt. and fend for ourselves. Hasn't the "keep em poor" mentality ab...

exactly...without funding they can't operate, but once we get deep enough into the red, which 14 trillion is WAY past deep enough IMO there won't be any money at all to fund with...

and at BG, yeah the cuts are going to suck for everyone, and I have family losing employment from OVR...but without cuts, we will be in turmoil, and cease to exist without a doubt....these cuts are nessecary...

More discipline? Who had more discipline again? ah, just the arrogance I spoke of earler....... Burg most definately had more discipline and CLASS...... The Pirates had one had a superb season, competed well, worked hard, and maintained school pride and loyalty through everything...hats off to such...

Strickland was horrific for Ohio and has been for years. Not just as Governor, but as a Rep for years. I got no dog in the Union issue, but have to step up when Stricklands name is mentioned. he is a terrific politician, but was a horrific legislature and not good at governing either. Yea i think the pirates are underdogs in this one and that is fine with me... they have bendolph this year and we dont... thats fine. but we have better team chemistry and better big game experience... we'll ride that 'dog all the way to columbus like in years past. go pirates plus the TB factor ;-)
