What Junior High Girls teams are suppose to be good and what players to watch for?

Who are the teams and players to watch in Junior High Girls basketball this season?

Southern and Eastern will be the top contenders for the TVC title this year. Alot of talent coming from both teams and both games should be Showdowns and I look forward for Southern making it back to the Regionals for the 4th year in a row and also look forward for Eastern to get back there as well....

Any thoughts?


Southern should be good once again this year.

You cant go on the summer program. Most of everybodys best players play baseball. Not much effort goes into the summer out of teams. Dont get me wrong some kids do, some dont and some cant be there all the time. When they start playing and practicing is when you know will be good.

Fourth of July Tournament:
Won 13-3 after 5 against Athens Jr.
Lost 4-7 against Portsmouth

meigs beat logan 17-2. record 11-11

meigs won 10-7 first game against athens and was 9-3 the second when the rain came. Game today with Pickerington cancelled. There correct record is now 10-11

meigs beat McCarther 18-2 after 7innings. records 8-8 now

6-22 game against portsmouth lost by mercy not sure what score was.
6-23 game against gallipolis cancelled.
6-24 game against jackson won by mercy 15-5.
6-25 game against logan won 32-2 I think.
record is 7-8 now I think

Thanks for the correction, my informant wasn't sure what the score was. I've been trying to keep the out of towners posted since nobody else has been doing it.

Meigs lost both to Portsmouth 5-0 and 10 or 12 to 5. I think! Didnt hit the ball very well and way to many errors I was told.

Game last night with Waverly cancelled.

Lost 2 to Lancaster, Lost 2 to Beverly-Lowell - first game 4-3, Waverly and Athens games were cancelled, Mercied Chilli 12-1. the record is 4-7 I think.

3-4 Lost to Beverly-Lowell, Gallipolis, and Pickerington twice
Won McCarther Twice and Gallipolis once

Ryan also has alot of help on the defense end and some pretty good bats. He is a very smart pitcher and a good ball player.
