Re: Peebles vs. Trimble District Semi

Young Peebles team can bang with the beat of them. Beau is just unstoppable/unguardable. Bigs take care of the opposing bigs, night after night. This is a great TEAM, who is unselfish and does what it takes to get the job done, however ugly it might have been tonight. That's what makes this group of...

Re: Peebles Indians 2010-11

riiiiiight mhs95_06. There wasn't a Manchester resident NOT at the game last night. You can surely do better than that! I'm still laughing at your ridiculously poor "cover" post.

Re: Pfloyd's Elite 8 of Southern/SouthEast Ohio -Week 3

Why don't you tell us mhs95_06. You obviously have the #s. Seems to me you should take the win for what it was. A great display of high school basketball, from both teams, with Manchester coming out on top by 2. What a game. I guess your failed attempt at satire makes you happier than a good win.....

Re: Peebles Indians 2010-11

Fine display of basketball talent and sportsmanship from both teams last night. Even great sportsmanship from both crowds. Appeared that all present appreciated a great game of round ball.

Then along comes mhs95_06. Thanks for reminding us that some things never change......

Re: Ironton vs. Peebles (District Final 3/13 @ 9PM)

The Arey kid is good, but with the pressure ironton puts on him he will most likely struggle.. very good kid and will make a good player just not sure about this game.. jordan, i disagree, not because Trent is my nephew but he's a pretty good little defender and I think they'll use him against Iron...

Re: Coaches District 14 list released

THANK YOU!!

Fan... you said what I wasn't saying, which is why I have kept my opinion to myself until now. Not sure of all the rules, but am sorry for two great players and lovers of the game. (sorry for the edit. I hit the enter button way too soon....)
numberonefan wrote:I don't think it's the "rule" per say, that we are taking issue with. If it was decided that Peebles kids could be nominated, then things should have gone on according to agenda, decision made, case closed. For coaches to then sit there and not vote for kids that they know full well are very deserving of said honors.....that is something I guess they'll have to live with because to say you're for kids....couldn't be any further from the truth. Again, the AP poll tells the tale and honestly.....you really have to put an asterisk beside the whole list in my book.

A BIG congrats to Blake on breaking the Peebles High School all-time scoring record. What an accomplishment! And one that will probaby never even be remotely attainable by anyone else. Not in my lifetime for sure.

Re: Peebles vs. North Adams, Part III

I agree with hoopin and Indian Girl. If North Adams was having a winning season, they would be on here all over the place. The fans from North Adams love their team as much as the fans from Peebles do. Why do we need to be "humbled" any more than they ever did??? What's wrong with being pr...
