Great game tonight by the Pirates. The Tigers held it close for a while, but ran out of gas early in the 2nd half and Burg just poured it on.

i agree. i would not want to be northwest next friday night. the only thing the burg can do now is try to win out and then get ready for b-ball because they defiantly won't see week 11 after the loss to minford. even at 8-2 they are not gettin enough 2nd level points to make the playoffs Not so fas...

I was just looking on weather.com and it looks like the rain tomorrow will be ending before game time. Although the field may still be quite wet, it doesn't look like it will rain after 6:00. Good for us sitting in the stands!

What a clown! I hope Burg keeps overlooking Minford all week cause the team I watched play Ironton week one was pathetic. Once they got behind they froze up and laid down. That week one team is still there and hopefully we will see them fall behind early and fold up like a napkin. You guys can talk...

I think it was Boyd Co. KY schools I saw on the news was closing for the week because of it. There are 2 kids at Burg middle school who have suspected cases as well.

There is at least 1 confirmed case of swine flu at the Burg. Well over 100 kids out sick or left early sick yesterday. I think it is affecting the middle school more than the high school, but there are all in the same building now....

The most improved part of the offense this year is the Burg's O-Line. They are playing very solid and making plays consistently. They did a nice job last year, but now they are mostly juniors and 1 senior and are playing very well together. They don't get the glory, but they are opening up the holes...

I guess they stayed down here last night, but it's still a long drive back. Especially when they couldn't bring their band or cheerleaders. They had what, 20 fans at the game?

Great job Pirates tonight on both sides of the ball. Got off to a quick start and never looked back. Hopefully get some decent computer points from VASJ through the rest of the season. Its gonna be a long drive back to Cleveland tonight for the Vikings

Just from looking at VASJ scores last year and so far this year, it looks like they do not play much defence, but can put some points on the board.
