Re: Ole miss and Blaine scott
Ask him, he is a stand up kind of guy! I think his family has managed his life and athletic career pretty well.

Re: WEST BASKETBALL
On another note, I would say West Basketball owes a huge thanks to Scott Davis. Not only did he jump in the water to take over the program, he also has been a major supporter with "The Complex" to help the youth in basketball and other sports as well.

Re: WEST BASKETBALL
As for the interviews, I don't know about that part. But I do know that Hafer is a pretty good young coach that had his team play hard for him. I won't be saying anything negative about this hiring, I think "The Dean" will do a good job!

Re: Wednesday's Games 4-19
Just rumor but heard their coach was fired. I heard the same thing. That he was let go at a meeting that occurred Tuesday evening. Guys, before this gets hashed over, let's honor the "no rumor code" and let the truth take it's course. I'm sure the Daily Times will come out with the story....

Re: 2017 SOC1 Thoughts/Predictions
If I am not mistaken, they had a tie against Clay a few years ago, but I don't remember a loss. Thank you 4thgoal! As the coach at Clay that season I was very proud of that group of coed athletes! I also was very proud of Shannon Curley (female) for scoring the winning goal against Portsmouth West ...

Re: Convo: 3/11 (12PM) #1 Clay vs. #6 South Webster
There are names you hear after every Clay game. But those who have known this bunch since biddy ball, they will tell you the blue collar guy is Anthony Williams. He has overcome so much, but has always been willing to dive into the paint at 5'11" (I think) against some seriously talented big me...

Re: SOC 1 and 2 Predictions and Thoughts
Oak Hill will do fine this year. Lead by the Blanton sisters who I believe are seniors. I look for the Oaks to get back on track and have a winning season this year. Looks like West is playing some solid ball which is good to see. At this point I see Minford and Burg as clearly the two best teams i...

Need a way to check JH Boys scores
I've been out of the loop for a while, just wondered what is the best way to get score for local teams. Thanks in advance!

Re: SOC1/SOC2 Predictions
Clay will only be in trouble if they are not allowed to take what the opposition gives them. If too much control is taken over their game, pressure will bother them. If they are allowed to make their own adjustments, they have handled it well since biddy ball.

Northwest does have some good talent at junior high level(s). Biggest challenge is working together.

Re: SOC1/SOC2 Predictions
It is Clay's to win, or lose. If the coaching staff allows the boys to play their game, they are smart enough to take what they are given. If not, it's anybody's league to take.

I agree totally! Why is this so secret??? If you want people to attend, you need to let them know when/where games are played!oldtrojan wrote:Why is there no information on this????
