Re: Portsmouth @ South Webster, 11/30/12
Why you felt the need to single Ky're out of them all only puts added pressure on him. He mentioned 3 players, yet you singled him out. Why don't you let him be a freshman. I'd hate to be on your bad side. You're good when you got a vendetta against somebody. What's your problem, jgordon? Not good ...

Re: Portsmouth @ South Webster, 11/30/12
Portsmouth 63-48 I really can't see Webster being able to guard Allison, Carter and Oliver. Go Trojans! Allison will be a good one; however, he has never played a varsity minute. I wish Portsmouth the best but please let Ky're be a freshman first. Thanks. Why you felt the need to single Ky're out o...

Re: Pfloyd's Elite 8 of Southern/SouthEast Ohio -Preseason
Bengalfan- My bad on Southworth, didn't get a chance to see him get much run last year, but if he's anything like the past Southworth's from Piketon, he's going to be a load to deal with for the rest of the league. SVC preview tonight, even though you can't take much out of it, like Huntington gett...

Re: SEOP Preseason Top 10
Might want to move Portsmouth and Unioto. This is from pfloyd's thread: Just left the Portsmouth/Unioto scrimmage. Unioto won 4 quarters, Portsmouth won 1 and they tied 1. Unioto has much more depth and interior size, but Portsmouth's athleticism is outstanding. Carter struggled from the outside ea...

Portsmouth can win, but we have to get the ball to the playmakers, have to take care of the ball and at the same time we have to be able to get stops!

Ironton might rush for 1200 yards against portsmouth.... JK , but the rush D was very very weak. Sloppy game , tons of penalities . fumbles, even considering it was opening night it was pretty rough . Charles is a good looking player for portsmouth. I thought Robinson from Portsmouth was outstandin...

Yeah, Gage Phipps has all the tools to be a really good player. We have a really talented core of young players.....not familiar with the Scott kid, but it should be fun to watch the young kids grow into their roles

Re: pre-season top 5 players in seo??
Pretty sure Jayllen Carter of Portsmouth has as much credentials as anybody on anyone's list outside of the 2 Ironton studs, and Jayllen actually has done it where even those 2 haven't done it at.....in the final 4.....Just wanna reiterate, Jayllen scored 24 points at the final four game against Ott...

Got the chance to check out several days of Training camp with our Trojans and while I'm no guru or anything of the sorts, some key notes of interest...... The QB situation at a glance: Brandon Wedebrook.....Jacob Albrecht.....Isiaiah Lisath...with Austin Hollins getting reps as a freshman. The back...

With camp starting today whats the latest on the Trojans? I assume we are still up in the air about who this years QB will be. What I have heard it could be weedeebrock albrecht or Oliver? Any news on this front would be more then interesting. We should have some of the better backs that we have se...

Re: Bannon Park Classic Returns
The Portsmouth Trojans came into Sunday on the brink of elimination in the Bannon Park Classic in the double elimination tournament, having already lost a game on Saturday to Gatti's pizza(a group made up of Shawnee State players), so in order to stay off elimination the young Trojans needed to dig ...

While Buffalo Wild Wings is a good establishment......I'd venture to say, you'd be doing yourself a disservice by not embellishing upon some great food that they will be selling right their in the vicinity of the courts.....grills will be fired up...and I'd bet that you couldn't get at Buffalo Wild ...

Re: Deep SouthEast Ohio D3 this season.
I think Ironton is the pretty obvious favorite in our region but Piketon, Minford, Peebles, and North Adams should all be strong as well. Some other teams that should have a decent year are Southeastern Ross, Huntington, Wheelersburg, Belpre, Valley, Zane Trace, and potentially Eastern Brown/Lynchb...

Wow! From the outside looking in....as a Trojan fan, I would have to say job well done. i don't know how most of the cav nation feels about Coach Kellough but one Chilli fan I talk to from time to time told me he didn't like Coach Kellough. But his reasoning was because, "Anyone could've won wi...

Re: Bannon Park Classic Returns
Wow! talk about full circle.....2 years ago the Portsmouth community was buzzing after Andrew Bendolph led the Trojans to the BPC finals as the first ever high school team ever to play in the finals of the "classic" Now, here we are again, though I'm not 100% sure, but I believe Ky're Alli...
