Last Game Plays at Bob Roberts field..
This friday will be the last game for Meigs at the Old Bob Roberts field. Meigs started playing there in 1967 season, before that Pomeroy used the field. Hate to see it end but it's time. Thoughts........

Re: Week 9: Nelsonville-York (8-0, 3-0) @ Alexander (6-2, 1-
Talent alone can win a 2 or three county SEO league. From what I've seen this year N-Y (opponents records: 26-37) should demolish Alex (opponents record: 19-45) and beat Athens quite handily in the last game. I'm still waiting to see if Little Davey can win a playoff for the first time in eons and ...

Re: Week 9: Vinton County @ Meigs
Vinton County really isnt that bad of a team. Their defense is better than their offense so Meigs needs to limit their turnovers, that is the only thing i could see hurting them is letting Vin co get defensive tds. 20-13 Meigs Agree with that, It was turnovers that opened the game up for the Buckey...

Re: Week 9: Vinton County @ Meigs
I heard that he had to go for more x-rays today. He will IMO not be playing friday nite. With that said I still look for Meigs to be alright Friday. Zack Sayre will most likely take over running back, and Meigs should still win pretty easy. Best wishes to Jay hope he has a speedy recovery, he a grea...

Just hope Meigs shows up ready to play this week, they were beat off the bus at Athens. Hope it's a game. Will Mike have them ready to play. Thats the question ?????? What's different about this game? This program has been in a vacuum for nearly two decades with his record backing that up. It's no ...

Re: Week 7: Nelsonville-York (6-0, 1-0) @ Meigs (4-2, 0-1)
N-Y will go 10-0 (yes, they'll beat Athens by 2 td's, have seen them both play more than once this year), will win their first round playoff game and then travel somewhere mid-state to play Ridgewood or "Bucky Rus" (Bucyrus Wynford) in a second round game and the season will end there. Yo...

Re: Week 6: Meigs (4-1) @ Athens (5-0)
If it's wet then turf is the way to go to neutralize any advantage of the other team rather than mud. This is the game to attend tomorrow night in Athens county, not the N-Y blowout of Wellston. If the Wellston fans are smart they'll stop in the Plains to get their monies worth and then on the way ...
