This one will be a little closer than it should be since it is at Southern, but I'll take Waterford by 6 on the road to take control in the battle for that elusive hocking title.

Waterford's girls team should be the strongest team in d4 and maybe in all the southeast. Heard they beat Berlin Hiland in their first scrimmage.

Waterford lost a lot, but I think they still have more than enough to get it done this year, as for Trimble, they won 5 games last year and dont expect much more this year. All the hype in Glouster is expected but once games start they will probably have some excuse as to why they are getting blown ...

I guess they must be much improved because I cant remember anyone from Trimble lighting it up when they played at Waterford last year and got destroyed by about 40. I cant see a 5 win team turning it around in one year and dominating. No way.

The Cats should pick up where they left off last season, but they will have a tougher schedule this year, that should get them ready for another run in the tournament.

Fed will not beat Waterford. They say it every year but Fed has not played the Cats close in a long time. I say Waterford will win both games by 20+.

I dont think it would have mattered if you were hitting or not against Chilli, that was an great team, as is VC, but Chilli was on another level.

Trimble is not good.

I'm just sayin someone that devotes all their time to running better be pretty good. Tornes was such a versatile athlete and I dont think focusing on one sport when she was so good at all three would have been the right decision for her.

Waterford will dominate Trimble...as a team they are much better, and as distance40 said i'm not sure if trimble can put it together for 4 quarters

Possibly the reason Tornes didnt run XC is because she was a first team all-district volleyball player, was a second team all-district selection on a basketball team that went to the elite 8, and also happened to be a great runner.
