Fido or BD. Do you redognize this kid?

I heard he was from in the Highland Bend area and like all of the youngsters down there, was always too eager to get back to the ball game. Was there any of us that didn't likewise suffer from a "too quick zipper pull"? Of course this little guy suffered excruciating pain but recovered rat...

Re: All Aboard Detroit, Toledo And Ironton - Youtube Video

I kept waiting for some of the Jackson and Waverly people to chime in but I guess not. D T & I also had a great amount of History in Jackson, Ohio where they had their car shops until early 80's. I remember driving by the shops many times. There is also a site in Waverly with lots of still pictu...

Planted garlic in October to harvest in July, and planted Kennebecs on Saturday to harvest in July.

I'm lucky that I don't live close to BD, but...................if his neighbor's garden bites the dust like mine did in the non tornado last year, woe is me. 'cause BD knows where I live.

Re: Looking for New Bank after PNC/National City fiasco.

Has anyone else had trouble with their new PNC banking since they took over for National City Bank. I have found out the hard way that they do business different than National City Bank. Their online banking is very hard to use and you can't access your business and personal accounts at the same ti...

Re: Do You Use Your Debit Cards For These Services?

Very good info and thanks for posting. But (there is always a but), no positives were given in reference to debit cards. Remember the thread on PNC and their changover from NCC? In the Cincy area many are still trying to recover from overages caused by PNC and most were with debit cards. m No, I do ...

Re: Do you believe Toyota Prius owner?

I'm part of a bunch of car forums and the consensus for everyone is to throw the "key" out the window as the car can only operate so far away from it because you can't not shut the vehicle off while it is in motion. Though, if the throwing the key may not work, it's about your only hope b...

I have driven five speeds and automatics in the downtowns of Chicago, Philadelphia, Columbus, Cincinnati and Ironton and have never found it necessary or even very necessary to ride the brake.

Re: Made in the USA?

There will be some on this board who will argue that the POTUS was not made in America! And let us not forget American made vehicles, which are brought up quite frequently. There was a thread on here not too long back about Ford. And not too long ago, new Pontiacs and Saturn were assembled overseas....

Re: Do you believe Toyota Prius owner?

Actually, you couldn't shift it out of gear nor could you shut the vehicle off as they are all electrically applied and the computer is what goes wrong with them. As Judge Judy would say: "Liar, Liar, pants on fire" Promoting info like this is very counter productive. Please cite your ref...

Re: Do you believe Toyota Prius owner?

Can you say Balloon Boy? He is in search of fame or fortune! ;) I have two Toyotas and according to Toyota, neither is in the speedup recall. A 2009 Camry Hybrid is in the floor mat recall. But I received prior notice of the floor mat problem and the prior notice had the part numbers for the correct...

SEOPS Needs an Official Comic Strip. PEARLS BEFORE SWINE?

I am suggesting that SEOPS adopt an official comic strip and I am recommending Pearls Before Swine. There is always a topical strip for about any thread started on here. Remember the Zebra Stripe Thread. Well this proves that it is black on white. http://i640.photobucket.com/albums/uu128/VariousVids...

Looking in a lady's bedroom and seeing her bare butt.

Oh, I'm sorry, I may have mislead you.

It is a bear butt and the camera is in a bears' den. When not sleeping the cub is very active.

Re: Crazy Stuff - 6 Year Old Suspended For 'Air Gun'

What if someone takes a real gun into a school gym? What if they drop the gun out of their pocket? What if the gun fires and shoots the person in the leg? Apparently it is permissable if no one else is hurt. And it gets swept under the rug with hope that the hullabaloo dies if no further information...
