Gallipolis has a tough schedule through 2/8. Warren, Ironton, Fairland, Columbus Academy, Coal Grove

Court House has Jackson, Greenfield, VC, Logan Elm And Unioto

Greenfield next 3 are Dayton Carroll, Chillicothe and Court House.

Waverly and Jackson play at Waverly on 2/5

ZT has Gahanna Lincoln but the other 4 games are Westfall, SE, Huntington and Piketon so ... they look like team with best record at midnight on 2/8.

Plenty of time for everyone to peak at the right time. Everyone has the necessary games for their seeding needs but also to prep for tourney, regardless of seed.

Peak at the right time, some teams going one way and some are going the other. Some trying to get over the hump and some going through the motions.

No one’s tournament goals have been crushed. I helped coach a team to the regional finals in another sport and ever so close to Final 4 and winning it all ....we were a 6 seed with a little momentum.

With 5 losses, to keep from slipping outside the top 6, you’d think the Tigers need to beat Valley, MT, Minford and then one of the others, more importantly Jackson since they are in the same sectional. Of course Gallipolis has a tough schedule ahead, while WCH, Jackson, Greenfield play each other.
Zane Trace with the easiest schedule should end up at the #1.
Right now with the games to be played, 2-6 is a toss up.

ZT beat Chillicothe and lost to GM.
GM split with Jackson, beat ZT and lost to WCH
WCH lost to Jackson, beat GM and Chillicothe and Waverly
Jackson beat WCH split with GM and split with Hillsboro
Waverly and Gallipolis have only beaten Athens at the D1 or D2 level.

The question I have about ZT is would anyone else have the same record or better if they played their schedule?

They lost to Hilliard Davidson lost to MCClain and lost to Johnstown. They beat Chillicothe and Adena.

So using that logic — WCH gets the 2 as they beat Chillicothe at home and beat Adena. They also beat MCClain but it wasn’t on the road. I think ZT will get the 1 but I also believe they aren’t much different then the top 6. But like Gallia and Waverly they play in a D3, D4 league and Unioto benefited from that the last few years but also backed it up in the tournament

I think we are splitting hairs between GM and WCH and Jackson. Jackson has lost 3 in a row so right now people are down on them. But, I’ve seen them look like the 1 seed too.

Right now the only thing I’m sure of is

7-10.

No clue lol, because Jackson and Fairfield Union are fairly similar and we got smoked by one and beat the other handily. So, I’d say it is more towards how we play that night. Heck, we would have to beat the 10 first!

I wouldn’t mind ZT slipping to the 2 and playing them if we get past the 10. Be tough for them to beat us a third time I think
