Barnesville tried to go pass heavy and Burkhart threw 4 ints. For the first time in a few weeks the Cadets did turn it over 2 times on fumbles.

It was hard to tell but plenty of Barnesville people. Hard to tell because the Waterford people were wearing green to.

Waterford players and fans all setting on FF's. side of field. Both home and visitors sides full. Ohsaa, and Marietta H. S. boosters concessions
both made plenty of cash on this game.
Shout out to Rocks quarterback and defense player. What a super young man. Very good athlete that can throw the ball 50 yds while running sideways.
Also playing good defense, and helping opposing players to their feet several times. What a Sportsman that young man is. 8-)

Like I said Fort wasn't even sharpe they turned the ball over 2 times.

Barnesville 1st touchdown was legit a 74 yard scamper by Bunfill on a direct snap.

Barnesville 2nd score came off a Fort fumble giving the Rocks the ball inside the 20. It was 4th in goal Engle drops an int goes off his hand for a Barnesville Td by Gordon.

3rd Td came with 5 mins left a bomb by Burkhart and the Wr made a great play.

The score could of been worse. Nice win by the Cadets who clearly were the best 3A OVAC school.

The Cadets seemed to put the game away on a halfback pass in the second half. What do you think? Considering they probably were going to win anyway, do you think it was good to use the gadget play in that situation? On the one hand, NC isn't going to be surprised by it. On the other hand, they know they can't totally sell out to the run on a pitch to Casey. What do you think?

There you go with real logic again Farns, sure something to add to the equation.
Your mind is usually clicking on the "what if's"
btw, I was thinking of the first option only.
Thanks 8-)

That's been a money play they used it to score last year vs Caldwell. Casey can really throw a nice ball.

I think at this point of the year all defenses are, or at least should be ready for anything. You see what a team likes to do on film and know their tendencies , but a good d-coordinator will anticipate a thing or two as well. Any run play a team shows on film, assume they have a play action off of it, a counter off of it, etc. all depending on what style of offense of course too. Also, if the little things are being preached concerning reads you can stop most trick plays without even watching it. That's easier said then done though of course too.
