Athens has turf. They actually have a pretty awesome facility now.
I don't think it will be their though.
I honestly don't think OHSAA would do that when Jackson is basically half way for both squads.
I have to disagree .. Athens visitor side is too small and the Parking is terrible. I remember 2011 when people had to park at McDonalds for the game.

Its 2016 man. A lot of changes have been made. Soft ball field then is now parking area.

The Buckeyes are underdogs but will fight until the end win or lose. I think everyone in Buckeye Country is happy that the Bucks have an opportunity to play in week 12. May the best team win

I look for a great hard fought game between two great programs. Hope we have a hell of a game

I've seen both play. Wheelersburg is a little better but these teams are carbon copies. Both teams biggest strength is depth

I see this game being kinda like in week 2 and 3 when NY played good teams and ending with burg putting 40-50 on them

The Buckeyes are playing with house money right now. All the pressure is on Burg.
Our boys are going to show up and give the Burg 4 quarters of Buckeye Football.
I don't give a darn if anyone on this sites respects our boys or not, but our boys respect Wheelersburg and after the game Saturday night the Burg coaches, players, and fans will respect Nelsonville-York. Win or lose.
Saturday will be a fun night!!

All the BS aside! I look for a close game until the middle of the 3rd quarter! Then the physical beating on the N/Y backs will start to show. Early week prediction is:

Nutboy's 20

The burg 35

NOBODY is disrespecting your boys!
Geez when you have a topic about two teams it seems unless you come in and say... awwww both teams are swell! good luck to both and don't get hurt, after all there are no losers.
Bull! I state my opinion and others as well and it's disrespectful? COM'N MAN! You make a comment like that and your a Mod?
I guess no one can have so much confidence in your team that it Butt hurts the other team. Better yet let's make a topic that says "only neutral at a boy ass pats"

Im taking NY in this one.....they are not the team that was playing in week 2 or 3.......I see this as a fairly close game heading into the 4th.....and NY pulling away at the end to win by 2 scores......and Wheelersburg being "butt hurt"(a child's saying) in the end.......Although coach Woodward is a native Gallia Co. boy, I kinda want him to win a state championship......so he can come back to GAHS and revive their program....

GO TVC!!!!

I wasn't implying anyone was......
I haven't once felt like anything anyone has written is or was disrespectful on this thread.
Saying I don't care if anyone respects our boys or not wasn't written to imply that I feel like we haven't gotten any respect. I was implying that respect is earned on the field.
Sorry you got butt hurt about what I said.

I just checked my NY history stats and the Buckeyes set their all-time record for most points scored in a game against Zane Trace Friday night. The 69 points scored tops the previous record of points scored by NY against Federal Hocking in 1980 (68 points).
