Waterford 22 Trimble 0

Post by Ttomcat99 »

Rematch from earlier in the year. If we dont make the mistakes as last time and keep the offense we have now but maybe mix it up a little we have a shot. What's everyone else think

If this Trimble team had more discipline & senior leadership...would go with them in a heartbeat but....they don't....so....Waterford moves on....

Only points Waterford gave up vs rosecrans was on terrible mistakes. First touchdown Waterford had them stopped at the 50 and jumped offside. Then a play or two later, Rosecrans ran a play to the sideline and got 15 yards tacked on for a late hit out of bounds putting it inside the twenty and Johnston got in from there. On the safety was just a bad snap over punters head. Waterford defense was good all night except for one or two drives. If Trimble cannot succeed in passing the ball, howie will be getting the boys ready for basketball

In the first matchup Trimble hadn't established the power running game yet(wishbone), now that they have, if it's effective I see Trimble winning the rematch. Waterford got a few scores on busted coverage in the first matchup. I'd expect with film and practice that will be cleaned up this go around. Good luck and Go Tomcats

Waterford kid was running down middle of field with no one around him for 20 yards. I doubt the kid is so good that he could blow past a defender like that. Its called blown coverage.

If Trimble runs the wishbone on every snap, I do not think they will win. Waterford's front 7 is as good as I have seen in this area. They have to throw the ball to win.

And that's the bottom line, b/c Stone Cold said so....
