This will be the 5th meeting between the two and the series is tied at 2 and 2. (Per. Burgfan.com)
I have no idea what years they played.

We were able to do whatever we wanted all night.
I honestly didn't expect the score to be that lopsided!

The Burgs defense was stout tonight against Ridgewood. According to the radio the Generals had 22 yards on 22 rushes and 20 yards on 5/11 passing for 42 total and only 1 first down and that was the 2nd play of the game. I doubt NY puts up those numbers next week.

Last time they played was in 99. Burg rolled them

Jackson makes the most sense. Almost identical mileage, plenty of seating and parking, and an all around great venue. But, they have to put in for a game and since they didn't make the playoffs you would think they would.

Had it been Burg and ZT it would have been Waverly for sure.
Still like to see it at Waverly but we'll see.

Burg will be the favorites. NY will show up and play hard all night and we will see what the scoreboard says when the clock hits zero in the 4th quarter.

I think Burg has things figured out after tonight's victory, but NY could keep this game close. Burg comes out quick and puts up a quick score and it settles down from there.

As long as Jackson applied to host this year I would think logistically it would make the most sense. Nothing against Waverly but after all the complaints last year, if they're choosing between Jackson and Waverly that could very well come into play and we'll see this game at Jackson. Great Parking, more seating then enough seating for these 2 teams and just right off the highway without having to go downtown. Burg's defense played lights out tonight but take on a much different opponent in NY. Plenty of game tape to watch having seen NY put up 69. Good luck to both teams. I'm going to take burg with the experience in this one by 2 scores. If NY can withstand the 1st burg punch could be quite a game, as burg jumps out fast putting teams behind the 8-ball so to speak before they can get settled in.
