The Cadets dominated the line of scrimmage all night. They were bigger and stronger. Nice adjustment from coach Huck putting Casey on Armstrong. Centerburg abandoned the run and thought they could throw all over the Cadets with little success. I think Centerburg should of tried to run the ball more. First play of the game they went deep to Armstrong and he dropped a TD. Cadets continued to get defensive stops. On offense they only punted once. Thing I liked was no turnovers. Casey with another great nice running the ball. Stewart ,Lochary, and Lewis all ran the ball very well. Let's give to Tate passing the ball he had 3 Tds should of had more. Prittchard had a nice Td at the end. Brady had a great catch towards the end of the half. Stewart had 2 Rec Tds. Cadets are loaded. They got the first playoff win in school history no reason to stop now. Go Cadets

Northridge came in and hit the Cadets in the mouth lol. Cadets did miss 5 pats so it should of been 42-20. Cadets closest game all year was a 17 point win over Northridge. If Baker don't get hurt it's probably more like 48-14. Cadets just got to stay focused.

I'd say they are they 2nd or 3rd best team we faced this year.

Did you get a chance to catch East Knox this year? I heard they were improved this year. It looks like Centerburg handled them pretty well, was curious if you think EK was decent this year or not and if that win is indicative at all to what Centerburg will bring to the table.

Ek was ok this year. Pretty young team that MIGHT do something in a couple of years. But definitely better than the dumpster fire they usually are. 6 wins against average or bad teams and got outscored something like 150-13 by the 4 playoff caliber teams they faced. I believe in 1 or 2 of their games they won without an offensive td and around 150 of O. Defense was pretty good. Offense struggled against anybody with a pulse . I think centerburg held them to one first down in first 2 1/2 qtrs.

Well only 1 first down?

UPSET SPECIAL

Centerburg (8-2) over Beverly Fort Frye (10-0). Fort Frye faced just one opponent with a winning record. Having played solid competition week in and week out in the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference, Centerburg is equipped to upset Fort Frye — just like eighth-seeded Fredericktown did in last year’s opening round.

I say the best, but Waterford might be better.

This win was a quantum leap ahead for the program. The kids have worked very hard to get to this point and I am happy to see them succeeding. They earned a lot of respect last night.
