Bait, It is nothing like you remember. It is pretty amazing......compared to the old field, bleachers, concessions, etc.
How says he remembers it? He's just saying he's been there!

Ouch is right. This is an example of the sad state of southeastern Ohio football the last couple years.

A different level of football. Unioto saw it at Wyoming tonight as well.
Proud of the 2016 Waverly Tigers and what they accomplished this year.

Good season waverly! Most teams find themselves on the short end at some point each season. Nothing to hang your heads about. Remember how far you have come in a year. Continue to build on that and come out swinging next season!

This region is just a monster. Nothing for the Tigers to hang their heads about after their outstanding season.

Yeah I seen first 3 drives, 205 yards for VV. Was the Waverly defense that outmatched?? Obviously they got shutout but how did the Waverly offense do?? Didn't know if just couldn't move the ball or turnovers. Seen film on VV, I knew east/west wouldn't work against them and they were just SOUND. Figured they'd have problems moving the ball but was hoping it didn't turn out like that.

German Valley View = Buzzsaw in all phases! Waverly only had a handful of 1st downs and really never was able to get anything going. Harris had 6 total yards rushing and #11 had negative yards. Most yards gained was on a pass where Waverly was pinned deep and completed a 30-yard pass, but it only got them up to their own 35. Faked a punt to get some momentum but afterward was stopped 3 and out. I don't know if Waverly crossed into GVV territory all night.

I'm very interested in seeing who emerges as the region 16 champ.

Congratulations to Valley View and well done to Waverly for a great season.

From the comments, I gather VV totally dominated the game. However a useful lesson was learned by the Tigers on how their team stacks up against the rest of the state and what needs done to elevate program.

Valley View is simply a much better team than Waverly. Bigger, stronger, faster and better prepared.

A great season for the Tigers to build upon.
