I have seen multiple game highlights on barnesville..... It scares me for my Panthers. The Barnesville RB is a load. He reminds me of Pendleton from Portsmouth West that went to Michigan St. except this kid is faster. The QB is a very capable runner he's about 6'2 and he has thrown for nearly 1000 this year. Obviously their first option is to hand it off but that QB scares me just as bad. He can find people and he can run the option. The one thing I will say for the first time ALL year, Chesapeakes line is bigger. Chesapeake will be faster overall but imo the best football player on the field will be Bunfill or however you spell it, the kid is a horse, he's fast and will break Chesapeakes arm tackling all night. If the Panthers want to win this one they have to wrap up. Honestly this game should be a shootout and I mean the scoreboard could blow up. I'm taking like 49-40 one way or the other. Should make for a great game and the house should be packed on the Panther side! I hope Barnesville travels well with it being such a long haul. My hopes is that the Peake wins but i won't be surprised if Barnesville pulls out the W.

Heard that Barnesville did not get enough fans for a charter so the fans might be real low for Shamrocks.

Saw that on their facebook page as well. Visiting side will be about half full, and for those that have seen Chesapeake's side, that is not many people

Caide Bunfill has been a load all year. He is their main threat on offense as he has over 1,600 rushing yards, 25 rushing touchdowns, over 300 receiving yards and 3 receiving touchdowns. His lowest rushing output for a game this year was in week ten (Barnesville only played a nine game schedule) against Union Local; 115 yards rushing and no touchdowns. However, he can go from that to 300+ rushing yards really quick. Chesapeake's defense will have their hands full with him if he is in full health. Bunfill is an absolute work horse. I like the contrast of styles, too. Chesapeake will probably try to slow the tempo down while Barnesville will want to make this a basketball score type of game. If Bunfill is healthy, Barnesville wins 48-46. If he is not ready in full health, Chesapeake wins 42-28. Either way, a lot of points will be put up in this one.

Congrats to the Shamrocks on the going away win, after a very long bus ride to Chesapeake. So much for all of the prognostication through three pages of this thread. These are HS kids, you never know who is going to show up and really play. Good luck to Barnesville next week, as much as that pains me to say that.... :)

When I left it was barnesville 39-22 with 3min left
Peake had many opportunities and killed themselves had a pass of 50yrds called back, it would have been 1st and goal, had a 30yrd pass called back it would have been 1st and goal, had a fumble lost and an INT. Jumped off sides and an unsportsmanlike penalty. QB was "Hurt" must have happened in practice bc he was fine last week. He didn't move real well and got sacked probably 7-8 times. Peake also seemed very flat in the 1st quarter getting down 13-0. Also the Bunfill kid is solid but no D1 running back...

Upset of the night in the region. Never saw it coming. Great win for Barnesville. I thought Ft. Frye would have some trouble with Chesapeake, but now I could see a really good game with Ft. Frye and Barnesville. I'd have to go with Ft. Frye but after this game Barnesville may be the sleeper of the region. Tough loss for Peake. I gotta believe they got blind-sided. Regroup, get in the weight room, work on your speed, and come out next year with a chip on your shoulder. Tough loss. Great win!
