Chillicothe 26 Wilmington 23

Post by Ohio1234 »

Big time showdown at Wilmington this Friday, Chillicothe currently at 7 in region 11, Wilmington at 9 in region 12. A lot of playoff points on the line in this one. Both teams lost to Massie in consecutive weeks by 1 point. Over the last Three years the winner of this game has gone to the playoffs. Chillicothe 2-1 in those games the only loss coming at Wilmington.

What are your Thoughts? If Chillicothe wins a possible home playoff game is on the line a loss could knock them out of the playoffs.

This game along with the NY and Athens match-up will be some of the best of Week 10 games we are talking about here.

Chillicothe upset Wilmington last year to get in the playoffs last year. Wilmington is sitting at the 9 seed in region 12

Thinking Chillicothe wins a tight one! This is a massive game for both teams.

If it wasn't for that horrible call in the Clinton massie game the cavs would have already clinched home field . Still one of the worst calls I've seen

Its Ron Hinton, he has two state titles for a reason. I saw Chuck Kyle, the greatest coach in ohio football history, go for it on a 4th and 1 on his 35 with a couple minutes to go against Moeller. Moeller then kicked a field goal and won 55-52.

It has nothing to do with hintons call. It was the bogus td massie got. When massie kicked off the cavalier runner was stopped at the 20 yd line. 6 massie defenders drove him back 20 yds, the last 5 yds carrying him into the end zone he then fumbled in the end zone and massie recovered and was awarded a td . That was the 2nd time in 3 years the cavs have been done in by poor officiating against massie. Final score should have been 13-7 cavs.

Chillicothe is yet to put it all together on a Friday night tournovers and penalties have plagued this team all season long. If Chillicothe plays a clean game and plays to win instead of not to lose they can dominate this game. Chillicothe 42-28

You guys from chilli complain about everything. Bottom line is you haven't beat Massie in 2 tries at home. No doubt you have a solid ball club but the pressure seems to get the best of them. I am really pulling for Wilmington in this one. I can't believe that I just said that but hearing all of the people from chilli whine makes me sick and that includes your coach. I've read your paper and listened to him on the radio and he makes excuses every time they get beat. It must never be their fault. As for the FAC vs the SBC, you guys are right. The SBC isn't as good right now but it will be. These other schools like goshen, western brown and new Richmond will be forced to raise their game to compete with CM and Wilmington. If they don't the same thing will happen to this league, a 59 game win streak and a 75-2 league record. The FAC will end up getting a team or two in the playoffs but they will never make a run which is the norm.

Chillicothe's QB Branden Maughmer single handily put the team on his back 230 yards rushing 130 passing. SCOL POY?
