What they hear is the Tiger roar. It's a Tigernado warning of the mauling about to take place!

Burg, Week 7... The news just reported that THE STORM has affected animals, men and trees...Tigers, Dragons, Trojans, more Trojans, some Iron Men and most recently blew over some Oaks. I see some more Tigers are getting ready to experience it in 280 minutes. Embrace for impact. The Eye of the Storm will remain calm but not sure about The Eye of Another Tiger. GO BURG!

wheelers saw a zt team last year that had a 5 sport all state player playing on one leg (mowery- who had knee surgery the next week), their lineman of the year in svc (and 4 year starter) tore his acl the week before, another 35 game starter on the d line got hurt the first series, their qb couldnt play qb anymore and the back up was a game time deicision
im not saying zt would have won, but wheelers did not see that same zt team that had played all year
injuries are part of it, but im sure both sides would have wanted to have healthy teams playing
missing 4 2 way players hurts d5 schools

For what's worth #1...CalPreps picks Wheelersberg 28-19.

For what it's worth #2...GoAT 10, in the last 'big' game Wheelersberg was in, Coldwater(4 consecutive state titles) beat them by 30. So much for showing up to the big games better than anyone. Then again, to Coldwater, it was just another game.

It's funny reading all of the boasting going on from people who have exactly nothing to do with the outcome! No one on here is going to make a block, fight for the extra yard, or have to second guess any decision they make (except whether or not to pay the $2 to park!) Keep in mind that high school kids will be playing tonight, and they are the ones with the skin in the game. Be a fan, and be proud of your team. But keep it all in perspective.

Edge to Burg on strength of schedule and quality opponents. With that said this game comes down to Burg's ability to stop Waverly and not the other way around. I believe Waverly will have a hard time stopping Burg's offense but is Burg's D up to the challenge to stop Waverly? I would say Burg +14 on a prediction. Good luck to both teams gonna be a big crowd tonight.

I love the history and tradition at burg and always root for them to win but this is one time I'm rooting for Waverley to win. This would be a huge win for their program.
Good luck to both teams. I hope for an injury free game.

Can someone explain to me how it's an insult to lose to coldwater??? Seems that most teams they've played at least within the last 5 years or so have lost... ive seen this repeated over and over... if that's the best insult anyone can come up with about wheelersburgs football program it's pathetic lol. So if wheelersburg eventually gets back to the state finals and manages to get a win over them what will it be next?? jealousy will always win out over common sense.... gettin ready to head up 23 to north piketon... where apparently for some reason wheelersburgs will once again have to prove to jealous adults that their program is the best in southern Ohio. Lol even if waverly gets a win tonite that fact will not change... good luck to all in travels and to the kids providing us with something to do instead of sittin in front of the tv all nite!

It is not an insult for Burg to lose to Coldwater and it is not an insult for any area team in SE Ohio to lose to Burg.

Coldwater different level than most other State of Ohio teams their size or even larger.

Burg different level than most other SE Ohio teams their size or even larger.

When someone competes with either one, that team deserves some props.

Running late. Had to stop and get a loan. Between the cost of parking and the 10 brats I'll have tonight.. Highway robbery.

$2.00 to park is cheap, it's your problem you're eating 10 brats!

If you want FREE: park on the street, at the church down the street, at the government center or various other spots. Everything is within 2 minutes walking distance.
