Cambridge 46 Marietta 26
Marietta Cambridge
@Morgan 51-48 W @Indian Creek 26-19 W
@Warren 50-13 W John Glenn 17-0 W
Williamstown 44-30 W @Canton South 13-6 W
St. Mary's 51-36 L Logan 48-14 W
Parkersburg 49-13 W @Coshocton 34-27 L
Important game for both teams to get a win with both still having to play New Philly, Dover, and Zanesville. This game will probably hinge on what Tigers defense shows up, the one that couldn't make a tackle vs. St. Mary's and Morgan or the defense that made plays against Parkersburg.
Any Thoughts?

Re: Week 6: (4-1) Cambridge @ (4-1) Marietta
Haven't seen Marietta.
Cambridge is fast and aggressive on defense. They have two linebackers - 50 and 44 - that are both VERY good.
Offense is okay. They don't do a lot fancy, but they execute and like to be physical. Will run read option with the QB and try to get their athletic receivers in space. Both running backs (32 and 5) are down hill physical runners. 44 also plays so fullback and he will bulldoze if he gets a chance.
Have a ton of respect for the Schob family. Good luck to the Tigers!

Re: WK6 Cambridge (4-1) @ Marietta (4-1)
Marietta at 4-1 is interesting. Is the back end of their schedule packed with teams like Cambridge? Can they finish 8-2? If so looks like a playoff appearance which seems like it has been awhile.

Marietta finishes the season with home games against Cambridge and Magnolia then goes to Dover, New Philly, and Zanesville.
Re: WK6 Cambridge (4-1) @ Marietta (4-1)
Neither team has hit the meat of the schedules yet so hard to tell how this one will go. Bobcats looked good on O against Coshocton but had trouble stopping their running game..big RBs who ran very hard and very downhill. Tigers have definitely improved over last few years so expecting a better team in 2016. Still have to go with Cambridge on the road 28-14

I will be at this one. I know nothing about cambridge but it's the best local game.
Re: WK6 Cambridge (4-1) @ Marietta (4-1)
Can't see Cambridge holding Marietta's offense to only 14 points, I'll take the Tigers in a shootout 42-35. Really looking forward to this one.

Re: WK6 Cambridge (4-1) @ Marietta (4-1)
This Marietta team is hard to read, but when their line/defense plays well they're tough to beat. Not gonna predict bc I know nothing about Cambridge, but I think if Mtta wins this they'll end up going 7-3. Wonder if that would be good enough for playoffs?

I'm amazed to see a year that Marietta lost to St. Marys and then beat Parkersburg.EttaExpress22 wrote:Marietta Cambridge

St Marys is going to win a state title and would smoke both Parkersburg teams.

I agree with ya Eastern that St. Mary's team is loaded and both Parkersburg teams seem to be going through a rough year.
