I live an hour and a half away so the football games are not usually on my schedule.

It is nice to see their success in the fall though too.

Winning is never a bad thing.
They always have good looking kids , playing at home on the grass , just came off a big win over Chillicothe. Jackson after a 6-0 start have to fight complacency. I think Jackson pulls off the win but Court has gave Jackson fits last 2 years .
Poo Bear: Wilmington beat these guys 31-15, and on Thursday wasn't you, Ironman, and Greygoose jumping all over me for saying they Blue Lion's are a decent program? And that was a quality win by the Hurricane?

I thought all you guy weren't impressed that Wilmington beat these guys by 3-scores?

Anyway, Jackson should have no problem handling these guys. Good luck Ironmen from Minford!

I never said Wilmington was bad , I argued that their defense and mainly defensive line wasn’t as good as Ironton / Jackson and I’ll stand by that. On the road in any league can be tough . By the way great effort last night , Minford is legit . Well done.

You said Wilmington’s defense was as good as Jackson’s and Ironton’s. I then made 1 post saying that Wilmington gave up 57 points to a 2-3 D3 team ranked 17th in their region.

If Jackson wins this easily I won’t be so skeptical of maybe not playing well like we did some early in the season. Jackson has shown great improvement.

I just don’t feel it at all. Court House not any good. Lost by 29 last year and they lost a lot. Jackson is good team.

You were talking about Butler? They've lost to all D2 teams most with a 5-1 record. Wilmington went on the road into WCH and beat them by 3-scores....

I hope Jackson goes into goes into WCH and does the same. I don't get why this game is worrying some of you, do you think this is a trap game or your boys are too over confident and underestimating the Blue Lions?

WCH was better than I thought they would be last week vs my Cavs. They waxed us. I’m not sure they’ll beat Jackson but I think it will be a lot closer than I thought before seeing them. Thinking a 34-27 Jackson win but WCH very athletic

The fact remains they gave up 57 to a D3 team ranked 17th in their region. I’d put all my money on Jackson not allowing 57 to Butler.

Now to answer the other question....you just know how big of a range high school kids can play. I think Jackson is 21 points better (but none of us truly know)...we’ve watched Jackson improve nicely from week 1 through 6 but also watched them have crippling personal fouls and getting toasted deep too much to just assume everything has been corrected. Western Brown is going to go 0-10 and in the middle of the 3rd they were down one score and had possession. We have been excellent in weeks 4-6 so week 7 I expect another excellent Ironmen performance but a team that beats any Chillicothe team by 30....you gotta respect.

I think we’ll win but not playing well and things will get dicey on the road in a big game.

Jackson doesn't see a tough game until Week 11. They run the regular season table with relative ease.
