That is what I think

Classy group of young men wearing the Black and Orange this year...hopefully they come out and get rid of that bad taste in their mouths tonight. It will come down to the defense...can we stop them or at least slow them down? Both teams can put up points.

For this game: It will be a tough matchup for the Tigers, considering Fairland likes to stack the back field with big backs, which has always been tough for Waverly to handle. I think it comes down to how healthy the Waverly's players are that have been banged up, and if we can stop the run.

I can't stress enough how much the coaches at Waverly get out of their players. They have about 5 pretty darn good skill players with Shanks, Wolfe, Shoemaker, Z. Brown, and Futhey. I've been impressed with what the coaches have been doing with this team after having Easton Wolfe, Cobe Marqueze and Macayne Bock the last 3 years. Just thinking about it, Waverly has had some of the best players in SEO the last 3 years with players like Clayton Howll, Drew Harris, Tariq Gilbert, Drew Kritzwiser, Cade Marquez, and Cobe, Easton and Macayne. These players and all the other players and coaches got Waverly football to the top of SEO after 8 or 9 losing seasons. Not to mention the work that the O line has been putting in over the past few years. I'm excited that Waverly Football is heading in the right direction, like we were in 07.

Curious as the reason game time is now 7:30. Seems odd.

Fast food in Proctorville. Huntington is right across the fiver. There’s a backyard bbq, chipotle on 5th ave. Or there’s some good places in and around Pullman square. They’re about 10 min from stadium in Proctorville

Game times are based on home teams league usually. Idk what would change that.

Happy to hear about some changes Waverly has made for this game and getting a couple kids back from injuries. Zeke Brown out and Shanks questionable won’t help.

The better part of valor is to err on the side of a player's physical well being. The result of a football game is fleeting in memory while injury may become debilitating for a lifetime.

Waverly offense fumbles the ball at the 1. Waverly D holds and Fairland punts it away. 9:01 left 1st

Waverly gets the ball back at the 25yrd line after the punt. Heavy dose of shoemaker and he walks it in from 5yrds out. Shoemaker’s 2pt is good.

On a weird turn of events a pass interference call leads to a Waverly 4th & 8. Waverly doesn’t convert, and on the next play Waverly D recovers a fumble in the end zone for a TD

Waverly 15
Fairland 7
