I hope your right and I am 100% wrong. But right now there are kids that should be leaders if this team is going to be 9-1. Phoning it in. There are plenty of kids working hard. But right now some important kids expected starters not putting in the work.

That Gallia team wasn’t very good and this years version of point pleasant won’t be as good as that team but I agree point is best team on schedule.

If I recall that game blue devils had 5 or 6 drives of 2 plays or less and gave up 28 of those point in a little over 2 minutes in afirst quarter that took well over a hour to play.
Point lost a few players but nothing that will hurt them too bad. They will still be big and strong. They lost a QB but that won’t hurt them that badly because their system doesn’t need a good QB. All they need is to hand the ball off effectively and pass once in a while for a few yards. That big line will allow plenty of time for a young QB to do just fine.

Maybe the reason that the "expected" starters aren't working hard is for that very reason. They expect to start regardless. I sure hope that is not the case.

I agree. All spots should be open and everyone should be putting in the work.

I think all positions are open. And by projected starters I was talking about my projected starters. Which would of had a freshmen and several sophomores.

I hear they had a great two days of camp early in week. So hopefully that is the start.

Saw the devils together recently. I think this will be the biggest, strongest, fastest offensive line this team has had in a long time. Probably at least this decade if not longer. My worry about our lack of experience at skilled position is eased by the fact that i think this line will dominate most of there opponents all season. From what i can tell i think we will have about 8 offensive lineman that we will be able to rotate through without feeling we are loosing a ton.

Defensively i think we will be able to make teams one dimensional. And if we have developed linebackers and defensive backs we have the potential to be very good.

You sort of know this team is kind of on schedule because you are hearing absolutely nothing.

I have been told the players that were thought to be missing from spring workouts. That several players were actually choosing a alternative workout. There was a lot of questions on if players were participating regularly. My understanding is. When school let out and all players came back into the fold. Coaches were all smiles about how far these players had came and how hard they had really worked.

Svac who are your predicted starters? What side of the ball will be stronger this year? You always have the correct info.

I am no expert and I am wrong a lot. I need to pull out my last years roster. So I don’t make any big mistakes. Like last year when I was calling Armstrong some other kids name. Made me look like an idiot which is not hard.

We are getting to the point where I know very few of the kids names. Besides some of the skilled players.

But I will do my best to get it out there. So that when I have like half of them wrong it will be funny.
