For the 7th time in program history and the first time since 2014, Duke has claimed the national title in D1 women's golf. After 3 rounds of play, the top 8 teams were bracketed and played match play (best of 5). After the 3 rounds of golf, Duke was seeded second overall (entered the tournament #3 in the nation). Their matches throughout the match play bracket were tight, but here's how they did it:

vs. Stanford - W 3-2
vs. Arizona - W 3-2
vs. Wake Forest - W 3-2 (Championship match)

The individual national champion was crowned to the best score after 3 rounds of play, and that honor went to Maria Fassi of Arkansas, who carded an 8-under par through 3 rounds of play.
