Warren 59

Final

Seeds:
1. Sheridan
2. Warren
3. Athens
4. Fairfield Union
5. Logan Elm

Again, Athens would be around .500 if they played Warren's schedule.
If Fairfield Union beats Amanda and Teays this week, they should be the two. After all, they did defeat the top-seed.

Cheaapeake at the Big E Classic At Fairland which is Chesapeake territory. Chesapeake a good ball club who I think is 12-6. And Alex twice!!

This is one of those years where it's probably best not to debate schedules, results, games if you're an Athens fan. Just be quiet and let the record speak. lol

FU held to 30 by LE a 9-8 team? Loss to Bloom Carroll a sub par team. Come on we can debate all night long. Again Athens worst loss is Warren at the Warrior Dome against HOF Coach Mattox. A game they were only down 36-33 at end of 3. Gallia Academy 1st game of the year and the Loveday Era and lose by 10. Waverly 2nd game of year lose by 6 and then the one point loss at Valhalla and the Vikings against HOF Coach McCombs. Huge win at the Alley against Alex 53-38-a place everyone said they would lose. Heck of a year so far and deserving of the 2 seed. Athens is playing their best ball right now.

If Athens gets the 2 seed I hope Fairfield Union drops to the 7.

Chesapeake is 5-5 (5th) in the OVC out of 8 teams.

I don't see a huge difference between 3, 4, 5 & 6

Athens is not getting the 2 seed Vision, so just give up on that man.

You will see some sort of Athens, Logan Elm, FU & Vinton County combination/match-ups in Logan.

I don't see how Logan Elm or Vinton can possibly pass Fairfield Union. Logan Elm is playing well right now but there is no weight factor based on how you're playing recently. FU has a better record than LE and has played a tough non league schedule. You can debate FU/Athens I guess, but no way FU or Athens slips below 4. I think Logan Elm is locked into the #5 spot and Vinton is Locked into the #6.

Athens (1-0 vs Wood County, no idea on their size)

vs D2 - 5-4
vs D3 - 7-0

Fairfield Union

vs D1 - 2-1
vs D2 - 5-5
vs D3 - 3-0

Yep. Maybe Logan Elm or Vinton County are better, but their resumes are not better than those 2 ahead of them

Unfortunately for my Dogs, those 5 wins in D2 were against (8-8) Vinton County, (5-11) New Lex, (5-12) Marietta and (2-15) River Valley x2
I still stand by the rescheduling of the Alexander game not helping us at all. We needed that Jackson game (win) at home on Saturday night.

Have you been wrong before? And have you seen stranger things happen in this Sectional Seeding? If so give us one that really sticks out of where you thought a team would/should be Lower but got a high seed and it blew your mind.

Um, can't think of a single time in this sectional. Coaches in D2 Logan are pretty knowledgeable and aware of what's going on around them.

Let me put this way, Athens lost to Logan Elm, on a last second shot, just a few weeks removed from playing in a regional final in football ... And guess what, it cost them that seed with the Braves. So if you think losing by 16 to Warren is somehow going to end up being Athens (2) and Warren (3) you are living in a dream world.

Agreed, Warren's Bio will have a 16 point win over Athens right there online for all the coaches to read. If records are close, coaches will go to head to head as the next biggest factor.
