Not sure! Safe beat is belpre but eastern seems to be improving winning their last 4 games. I know they were against lesser opponents but they seem to be improving we will know a lot about eastern after Friday night!

Eastern's defense should put them in a position to possibly win this game. Everyone is saying how much the Eagles have improved and we'll find out Friday. Not to look ahead, but that Eastern/Southern game is going to be a dandy! Possible playoff spot on the line!

I agree ! But only if eastern wins Friday there opponents haven’t been very good . But you have to make plays to win those games and obviously they did. I hope they are as improved as everyone is saying! That would be a great week 10 atmosphere!!

Belpre to bounce back after the loss to Valley, and handle Eastern at home.

Agree.

Belpre's starting lineup is 80% underclassmen. Its Senior Night and they want our few Seniors to walkoff their home field one last time as winners.

Good luck and good health to both teams.

LETS GO GOLDEN EAGLES!!!

My prediction is an improved Eastern team will keep it close, but Belpre will end up with the win. I can see this game going either way, but it is AT BELPRE

I’ve seen both, and while Eastern really plays hard, they are small. I’m assuming they are loaded with underclassmen. Belpre will wear them down with running game and pull away in second half.

Eastern and Southern could be a barn burner.

Big game for both teams. Both have beaten the same teams.Golden Eagles have to be the surprise team of the Hocking.Call me crazy but I think the boys in Green will be stopping at Mc D's.Seniors will know what I mean.Should be a good game, glad to see Golden Eagles back to a little classier act.

I'm thinking that Belpre is still a little banged up from last week. I'm going with Eastern in a close one. Hopefully it's a better officiating crew than Belpre had there the last time the Eagles visited them. Good luck to both teams!

Man, I was confused and thinking Eastern Pike instead of Eastern Meigs and wondering how Belpre had back to back non conference games this late in the year.

sad but true! It’s not just this game! It’s awful can’t believe that nothing has ever been done about it but the visiting team is always playing belpre and the officials! Something needs to be done . But game after game and year after year so just know that going into it!!

Here's an idea...why don't the superintendents, hs principals, Ad's or whoever calls the shots at the TVC conference meetings have a league assigner for officials since this happens year after year and people are up in arms about it?

I will tell you why, because outside of the stands and the message boards, nobody sees it as a problem at any member school.

Plus, nobody wants to pay someone to do it.

Just my thoughts guys.

Not emotional about it at all.

Just tired of the foolish folks who say this stuff every time their teams loses regardless if it is at Belpre, Southern, Waterford, Nelsonville, Athens or anywhere else in the TVC.

You people are the type that give the TVC a bad rap as a bush league conference from others in SE Ohio.
