Football
Football
On the basketball thread several weeks ago it was mentioned that Warren finally passed a levy and are preparing to build 3 new schools K-4, 5-8 and 9-12 all on the same campus. This would include 2 new gymnasiums and renovating the old one. Now I hear that they are going to build a new synthetic turf football field and replace the old track with a new 8 lane venue. No doubt this will be a big boost to an already very competitive sports program but will it be enough to lift a less than stellar football program. I realize that updated facilities are only part of the problem there so can this kick up more interest and participation as well? Timeline for project is June 2018 start and an August 2022 completion.

Re: Football
Turf isn't cheap so I wouldn't think so but maybe you could contact a school board member and ask.
Championship's are won in the off-season
