The AAA classification on the OHSAA site is different from the classification from WV. To be AAA, your total enrollment (9-12 both Boys and Girls) is 933+ students. Zanesville was on the border if they were included.

http://www.wvssac.org/classificiations/

AAA: 933+
AA: 460-932
A: 0-459

"It can be a drain financially. The rules give us a bit of flexibility with being able to schedule. But you have to look at the Ohio schools. It did a reclassification and teams like Marietta and Warren dropped to a AA value even though their numbers stayed the same. Therefore, the number of points available to anyone on their schedule dropped."

And if money or costs ever because an issue down the road for the Parkersburg schools, a league like that could be an option as Parkersburg to Logan or Zanesville would be around an hour and a half by bus where in OVAC-TRAC for South, it's almost 2 hours just to the closest conference member so travel would go down significantly along with costs, gates would probably go up with Warren and Marietta just across the river, Athens not too far away, and I'm sure Logan would also travel well (not too sure on Zanesville) and then they could try to schedule up non-conference (play AAA teams in either the MSAC or TRAC). Heck, duel league could even be an option if scheduling is be done right and both leagues are 5-6 teams.

The wv points system is a joke. Point plays little sisters of the poor and gets a lot of points

Now that the school year is ending, any hot rumors or facts to update. How is conditioning coming along?

Say, moon will be returning from his vacation at wally world! soon! I will agree with football experts give only 10 days off during the end of May and beginning of June! A football team is built during the off season conditioning and togetherness is built among teammates! Summer conditioning should be like this. Every Monday, Wednesday and Fridays lifting, speed drills and gassers, stadium steps, cemetery hill sprints then finish drills off with swimming at the pool! That contraction and expansions of all body groups! Of course as allowed by the OHSAA!

With what both teams return, should be a high scoring game. Last year was not good, lost to Logan and NY :x

Drove past Dublin Jerome's stadium yesterday, less than two months from the opener there.

Also saw the Jerome and Scioto (both Logan opponents) marching bands in the Dublin 4th of July parade. Battle of the bands will be a blood bath 8-)
