In DII Men's Tennis, West Florida was crowned your national champions earlier today, defeating Barry 5-2. West Florida's run includes:

vs. Armstrong - W 5-0
vs. Hawaii Pacific - W 5-0
vs. Southwest Baptist - W 5-1
vs. Barry - W 5-2

This is West Florida's 4th title in program history and their first since 2014.

Barry is your DII Women's Tennis national champions, after defeating Lynn 5-0, capping off a perfect 30-0 season. Their tournament included:

vs. Drury - W 5-0
vs. BYU-Hawaii - W 5-4
vs. Armstrong - W 5-1
vs. Lynn - W 5-0

This is Barry's third program title, and their first since 2014.

Today in the Women's Water Polo national championship, #2 Stanford took down #1 UCLA by a final score of 8-7. The Cardinal path to the title included:

vs. Pacific - W 13-6
vs. #3 USC - W 11-10
vs. #1 UCLA - W 8-7

This is Stanford's 6th title in program history and their 3rd in the last 4 years.

The DI Softball bracket has now been released:

Regionals will begin May 18 and the tournament will conclude June 8 at the ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City.

Will begin on May 18 with regionals, and will conclude with the championship on June 3 at The Ballpark in Grand Prairie in Grand Prairie, TX.

Teams from Ohio include: Otterbein and Wooster.

The final Rowing qualifiers announced happened on Tuesday night as the DI Rowing selections were announced:

The Championship will be held May 26-28 at Lake Mercer in West Windsor, NJ.

Ohio State is in the field after clinching the Big Ten title and will look to continue their dominance over the last several years in rowing.

The Championship will be May 25-27 at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL.

Logan grad Coy Blair (Indoor National Champ in Shot Put and Weight Throw) will be the favorite going into the shot put competition.

The DI Track & Field prelims qualifiers have been announced.

Regionals will take place at two locations from May 25-27. The East Regional will be hosted by Kentucky and the West Regional will be hosted by Texas. The top 12 in each individual event from each regional will advance to the NCAA Championships which will be June 7-10 at Oregon at legendary Hayward Field.

Wittenberg claims the DIII Men's Golf national championship! This is just the first time in program history that Wittenberg has claimed the title and just the second time in the tournament history that a team from Ohio has won the championship (1975 Wooster). Josh Gibson of Hope College claimed the individual national title.

Barry is the DII Women's Golf National Champion. This is Barry's first title in women's golf program history. They won the title by just one stroke, defeating Dallas Baptist 1,222 - 1,223.

Adelphi is your DII Women's Lacrosse National Champion! This is their 3rd title in the last 4 seasons and their NCAA leading 9th title in program history. Adelphi defeated last year's national champion Florida Southern 6-4 in the national title game.

In DI Women's Golf, the first three days is where all the teams that qualified from regionals play, after those three days, the field is cut to the top 8 teams for the final two days of play. Those advancing teams are, in order of where they are ranked after 3 days:

Northwestern
Stanford
Arizona State
Ohio State
USC
Florida
Baylor
Kent State

Play the final two days will be match play style, with the quarterfinals and semifinals tomorrow and the final on Wednesday. Tomorrow mornings quarterfinal matchups:

Northwestern vs. Kent State
Stanford vs. Baylor
Arizona State vs. Florida
Ohio State vs. USC

Virginia is the DI Men's Tennis national champion for the third consecutive year, and repeating from indoor season after defeating ACC rival North Carolina 4-2 in the title match. Virginia's run included:

vs. Monmouth - W 4-0
vs. Columbia - W 4-0
vs. #15 Florida - W 4-0
vs. #10 Texas - W 4-1
vs. #3 Ohio State - W 4-2
vs. #9 North Carolina - W 4-2

This is also their 4th title in program history, all coming within the last 5 years.
