Minford and Burg lost a lot to graduation and will struggle to be on top. I think Waverly could be the early favorite and possibly Northwest could be near the top.

On the SOC girls side of things, Burg should be the favorite once again with 8 starters returning from last year. Minford will still be solid and I think Waverly could be a factor as their program continues to improve.

Minford should still be pretty solid on defense, but will definitely need a keeper to go with that defense. Zach Higbee and Michael Patrick will continue to be strong defenders. T Coriell, Adam Cordle and Eli Cordle will be solid up the middle and up front. I still would favor Northwest slightly over Minford, Burg, and Waverly.

They might need a year but Waverly girls will be a force to be reckoned with their incoming freshman class is stacked.

SOC boys about as wide open as ever. SW standard barer for boys programs now. Burg graduated a bunch. Waverly needs to become more consistent. Going to be interesting year for boys. Be good to see some girls programs continue to improve. SOC girls will be a contest this year.

Minford Northwest Waverly Burg West.

Maybe the first 3 teams flip flop but the bottom is set...
