If the rain holds off tonight 4 of these 5 teams will play each other.

Rock Hill @ Coal Grove and Clay @ Wheelersburg

Not positive but I believe Rock HIll, Coal Grove and Wheelersburg are all undefeated. Clay has two losses with both of them being 2-1 games to Wellston.

On Tuesday Clay @ Wheelersburg got started then the rain hit. The game will be picked up on Saturday in Wheelersburg. Clay was up 3-0 in the top of the 1st. Not sure if game will restart from that point or if it will be started from the beginning. Does anyone know what HS rules are for rain delayed games?

Really good game. Not sure why it was started from the beginning after Clay went up 3-0 before the rain hit earlier in the week but none the less a good game.

Score was 0-0 until the bottom of the 6th when Burg came through with a couple hits to get some runners across. Clay had their chance earlier in the game when they had a couple runners on but couldn't produce any runs.

Clay will travel to Coal Grove on Tuesday for another tough game. I heard South Webster beat Wheelersburg earlier in the week last week. Does anyone have a score for that game?

Rock Hill split a double header with Greenup County.

Rock Hill lost the first game and came back and won the second game.

Young lady for Clay does really nice job. Offensively they do little to help her. Hence losses like 2-0 and 1-0. But good for her in the circle.

Agree she does a great job.
Clay plays a tough schedule
Offense rarely strikes out
They bunt well
Play solid defense
Other teams struggle offensively as well
For a small school they are pretty competitive

The young lady from Clay is a very good pitcher with the best change-up I have seen this spring. The team plays good defense and the offense will get better. This group has a bright future, well coached.

After seeing both of these teams I will take Burg over Wellston. I think pitching and defensively both teams are pretty equal. But I believe Burg will be stronger offensively.

Should be a good game to watch.
