In the last two games of the Big Ten/Pac-12 Challenge the Buckeyes were unable to pull out a win. Yesterday, OSU fell to Utah for the second time, this time at 6-4. Then this morning, trying to go for the sweep of #5 Oregon State, the Buckeyes ultimately lost 5-1.

Ohio State traveled to Fort Myers for this weekend to face off against Florida Gulf Coast for a three game set. In their first game last night, the Buckeyes fell to FGCU 10-9 late. Since LCF did a run down of the game in another thread, I won't go into too much detail in this one.

OSU and FGCU play their second game this afternoon at 1pm.

There's not much to say about the Buckeyes in this game, for the second time in as many games they lost at Florida Gulf Coast but this time it was utter domination. FGCU defeated OSU by a final score of 13-1. They play their final game of the series tomorrow at 1pm where the Buckeyes will hope to win at least one game.

Tre' Gantt was once again the leader for the Buckeyes at the plate, going 3-for-5. Curtiss Irving only went one inning for Ohio State, but he picked up the loss as he gave up the game deciding run.

OSU opened up their 3 game series last night against Minnesota in Columbus. Ultimately, the Buckeyes fell to the Gophers 5-2. Starting pitcher Jake Post had a very solid outing for the Buckeyes, going 6 innings and only giving up 2 runs (1 earned) on 7 hits, 2 walks and fanned 5 batters. Then enter Joe Stoll, who went just 0.1 innings allowing 2 runs (both earned), while allowing 1 hit and 1 walk, and striking out his only out. Stoll ultimately took the loss for the Buckeyes. Jalen Washington drove in the only earned run for the Buckeyes as he went 1-for-4 with an RBI. Brady Cherry was the only batter with more than one hit as he went 2-for-4.

OSU and Minnesota face off today in a double header at Noon and 3:05pm to wrap up their series.

The Buckeyes wrapped up their series against Minnesota today, and it didn't go well. In the first game of the double header, they were defeated 15-5 and were barely edged in the second game, 6-5, meaning the Buckeyes were swept by the Gophers. OSU will look to get back into the win column on Tuesday when they host Ohio U.
