In the DIII Indoor Track National Championship, the two most successful programs in the history of DIII did not disappoint. Wisconsin-La Crosse captured the national title on a tie-breaker, which is extremely rare. They tied at 34 points a piece with North Central (ILL) and ultimately took home the title after finishing higher in the final event, the 4x400. In the record books, the title is technically shared, but UW La Crosse will take the home the trophy. This is UW-La Crosse's record 18th indoor national title and 32nd overall (14 outdoor). Wisconsin Whitewater took home third place with 30 points and Wisconsin Steven's Point took fourth with 27 points.

On the men's side in DII, Tiffin took home the title, for the second time in school history. Not only was it their second title ever, but it was their second in a row. The Dragons scored 63 points to take home the title, Ashland was runner-up with 52 points and in 3rd place was St. Augustines with 46 points. Logan grad Coy Blair led Tiffin scoring 20 points by himself by winning the individual national titles in both the shot put and the weight throw.
