Spent a lot of time on the porch today. Back in September when people were getting ready for the fair a man going through the neighbor hood lost a chicken and a neighbor and me have been taking care of it. Was able to watch it walk around and eat today.

I'd keep a close eye on him. I think I heard you say you had neighborhood cats onetime and kept they're water from freezing. Cats will play with him at night if you know what I mean. Has he got a chicken coop pin?

We both have dog houses well kept for it. Plenty of cats in the neighbor hood. I have a cat outside and it just walks past it and the chicken acts like it isn't around. Now my dog will just look at it and wiggle its tail.

Don't think us two old neighbors could catch it. If we tried it might be us two... buying the farm.
