The Buckeyes began their quest to defend their national title last night, with a 3-1 win over Receiving Votes USC in Columbus in the B1G-PAC 12 Challenge. They play their second game of the challenge tonight in the 4 team challenge, in a #1 vs. #2 battle to take on UCLA.

In a #1 vs. #2 matchup, #1 OSU faced off against #2 UCLA last night in the B1G/PAC 12 Challenge, and earned their #1 ranking, as they defeated UCLA 3-1. Their next match is Tuesday when they host #10 George Mason.

The #1 Buckeyes got their first sweep of the season tonight, defeating #11 George Mason 3-0 in Columbus. The Buckeyes will play two straight games at #10 Stanford on Friday and Saturday nights.

The Buckeyes are spending all weekend in Palo Alto, facing off against #10 Stanford for two games on Friday and Saturday. They won their first game 3-0 and will play again tomorrow night.

OSU dominated once gain at #10 Stanford last night, winning for a second straight night at 3-0. Overall, this is the 28th straight win for the Buckeye's program. They will hit the road against this Friday when they travel to Saint Francis (PA).

The Buckeyes continued their dominance tonight with their 4th straight sweep, this time on the road over Saint Francis (PA), 3-0, 25-23, 25-18, 25-18. The #1 ranked Buckeyes are off until they host Penn State on Tuesday, another top 15 ranked team.

OSU tallied a fifth straight shutout, with a 3-0 win today over #14 Penn State in Columbus, set scores of: 25-16, 25-22, 25-16.

Next up for the Buckeyes is a big weekend in Columbus, where Friday they'll host Barton College and Saturday they will host #4 Long Beach State.

The Buckeyes got their 6th consecutive shutout tonight, taking down Barton College, 3-0 (25-21; 25-14; 25-17) in dominant fashion. Tomorrow, the Buckeyes will greet another top challenger, when they face #4 Long Beach State in Columbus.

Ohio State claimed yet another victory over a top team today, this time over #4 Long Beach State, 3-1 (25-22; 24-26; 25-21; 26-24).

The Buckeyes next game is at Ball State, another ranked team, on Thursday.

The Buckeyes earned their tenth straight victory to open up the season with a dominant 3-0 (29-27; 25-19; 25-22) victory of #12 Ball State on the road to open up their MIVA Conference schedule. Their next match is Saturday when they head up to IPFW (Fort Wayne) for their second conference game of the season.

Ohio State continued their winning ways today to stay undefeated on the season by defeating IPFW 3-0 (25-17; 25-13; 25-21) in Fort Wayne. This was another MIVA conference contest. Up next for the Buckeyes this week will be two more MIVA games when they host Lewis on Thursday and Loyola on Saturday.

The Buckeyes continued tonight, defeating #6 Lewis handily, 3-1 (25-13; 20-25; 25-14; 25-17). This was their 3rd conference win and they have been on a massive winning streak, nobody can seem to compete with the Buckeyes.

Up next they will compete in another MIVA match on Saturday when they host Loyola.

Although it wasn't quite as dominant, the Buckeyes cruised to another victory last night in Columbus over MIVA foe Quincy, 3-0 (25-14; 22-25; 25-15; 25-20). Next up for the Buckeyes is when they host Lindenwood tomorrow afternoon.

The Buckeyes cruised to another MIVA win today, defeating Lindenwood in Columbus, 3-1 (25-20; 22-25; 25-21; 25-16). OSU travels to Phoenix for two games at Grand Canyon, another MIVA opponent, on Friday and Sunday.

The #1 Buckeyes left day 1 of their battle in the desert at Grand Canyon tonight with a 3-1 (25-19; 17-25; 26-24; 25-23) to extend their win streak to 39 matches. They will play a second game at Grand Canyon on Sunday, hoping to extend their win streak to 40, which would make OSU only the 6th team in NCAA D1/D2 history to have a 40 match win streak.

The Buckeyes became just the 6th team in the history of D1/D2 men's volleyball to have a win streak of 40 games. They won at Grand Canyon tonight for the second time in three days, this time 3-2 (25-18; 22-25; 25-22; 25-27; 15-11) in a nail biter. OSU will next host Saint Francis (PA) on Friday.

Playing only one game this weekend, the Buckeyes breezed to a victory tonight over Saint Francis (PA), 3-1 (25-15; 23-25; 25-15; 25-15). Next weekend they host two teams in UC San Diego and UC Irvine.

Last night in a non-conference matchup in Columbus, the top ranked Buckeyes made quick work of UC San Diego with a 3-0 (25-17; 25-19; 25-13) victory. This also improved their overall winning streak to 42 matches. The Buckeyes will host #6 UC Irvine tonight at 7pm.
