Shawnee St 2024 Season updates

SSU with new Coach Kristen Bradshaw from Northwest , and former coach of PHS , started out strong against Asbury College ( Ky) getting a DH sweep . Cassie Schaffer from ND got the win in Game 1 , and Emma Wargel ( sp ?) threw a no hitter in a 16-0 win in Game 2 . Wishing the best for new Coach B and the Lady Bears . Several local players on the squad.
SSu is playing in a new conference this year , out of the Mid -South and into the river cities league with Rio Grande and a bunch of colleges from Ind, and other states .
