After reading on another topic of all the 2021 girls signing I thought I would put together a list with what I have seen. Feel free to add to it. List is alphabetical by High School.

A lot of talent on that list. One thing that jumps out at me is that Shawnee State is not on the list of schools.

There is a new coach at SSU this year. Maybe that is the difference in seeing local girls being recruited. The old coach lived and was from the area. I am not sure about the new coach they hired.

Or maybe these kids that signed other places didn't want to go to Shawnee? A lot of factors in play.

SSU's new coach - Michele Throckmorton - didn't take the job until at least midway during the season (maybe later). Unfortunately for her, most recruiting is done over the summer for this year's senior.

Was she interim for the remainder of this past season or hired for 2022 ?

I believe both but I really haven't seen any announcements. SSU doesn't use conventional media (newspapers and radio) much.

Shawnee made a good hire , the former assistant from Lindsey Wilson is a good guy and a hard worker -- he knows how to recruit to win. They will be looking to be a player in the Mid South conference but that conference is the best NAIA conference in America -- easily . Its extremely difficult to recruit players good enough to compete in that conference when your facilities are not just sub par , but entirely missing. No home field for 2 years ??? Its inexcusable . Rumor has it they are building a on campus field but I was hearing that 4 years ago also. Can you imagine recruiting a player with several offers and you have to tell her " we play at a local HS field" ? Good Luck.
