I think Century 21 might start buying ad signs in some Burgs around Ohio .... BaaaaaHaaaaaa. .. Families move their entire home and uproot their families over softball are ???? well. no need to judge anyone until you walk in their shoes , but theres a lot of shoes getting worn out ... bam .. LOL

I’d be the last one to tell someone else what’s best for them and their family
Re: Early outlooks for the SOC1/SOC2 in 2020 ?
Some people are real quick to judge someone without having a clue about the circumstances around why some families move. I think the majority of these families were looking to relocate anyways... and no doubt Burgs success and higher academics drew them there. I don’t think they are uprooting their homes and families for one sport..

Moving 5-10 miles is uprooting your family?ManitouDan2 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 19, 2019 1:53 pm I think Century 21 might start buying ad signs in some Burgs around Ohio .... BaaaaaHaaaaaa. .. Moving from one school to another when school A and school B are hot rivals might override the number of miles between the two ?

I would love to see Ironton move into the SOC. I think that would be a game changer for burg and put some pressure on them. i am a fan of both programs but would love to see these two go at it this spring.

Hopefully Oak Hill at least makes the Final 4 based on how they were to deal with in their youth days (parents/coaches, not kids)
I assume they won the gold ball last year in the SOC

If you can’t beat them join them. If your the best softball player on a bad team what does that get you? Beat. Opportunity draws players. And the education at the Burg at too bad..ManitouDan2 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 19, 2019 1:53 pm I think Century 21 might start buying ad signs in some Burgs around Ohio .... BaaaaaHaaaaaa. .. I dont have any info at all about transfers but they will have an total ace in the circle for several years to come. ND kid from the start . That means they will be very good .

Heard some girls from west made the move at the jr high level. I wouldn't really consider it a "transfer" being that ND is a private school.ManitouDan2 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 7:34 pmI dont have any info at all about transfers but they will have an total ace in the circle for several years to come. A pain in the rear to work with...all the rules lol
We had a 9:00 am game on a Saturday in Jackson 10u ....they showed up. I see the woman coach with a very distraught look on her face...finally she walks over and says to me “that circle is not the correct size” I kind of looked at her and grinned and said yeah it looks like the teenage worker made it a bit big. She said it needs to be fixed. I told her we have two choices...1. Play the game with everything else correct or 2. tell your parents there is no game today due to the circle being 24 inches too big in diameter.
Wasn’t any common sense. Couldn’t see the big picture. It was the biggest thing in the world. It was just a couple coaches and some parents. I like Oak Hill people but that year was ridiculous. Rec league isn’t an Olympic qualifier.

Little League rulebook guy/gal is the worst. I've seen it way too many times over the years. As for the coach, let me guess: her kid was pitching then and probably doesn't even play high school softball now?*Ironman92 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 03, 2020 12:22 pmA pain in the rear to work with...all the rules lol
