Is West over hyped or is Burg that good?

What are the updated records for South Webster and Eastern Pike?

From a spectator at the game, the pitcher from West made two bad pitches. Burg lineup is better that West but that does not mean West is not a strong team. Only problem is they may meet again and if West plays the same game they lose again.

Eaton very well could be the best hitter to ever play in the SOC and only a Junior!

Burg is better 1-9, bottom 3rd of Wests lineup struggles at the plate. Don't get it confused, this was a tie game until one swing of the bat and credit due wh where it is earned. Costly baserunning errors hurt West early and left way too many on base. Two very dangerous teams, just hope the West girls don't lose focus.

Throwing a pitch to Eaton on the outside of the plate allows her to extend her arms and swing away. She hit the ball over the cars in the parking lot at Burg park. Pitch to the other girl was right down the middle of the plate after walking Eaton. Of course they were good hits but against the Burg you have to be in control of how you pitch. All I was suggesting was that the game turned on two pitches.

As scott mentioned above, I don't think you can blame it on the pitching "mistakes". One was a ball, one was a strike.....you have to throw one or the other. It was just a case of very good hitting by the Burg batters. The lineup for Burg is extremely tough for opposing pitchers and you really don't get much of a break, but the middle 1/3 is brutal for opposing pitchers with longball power at any given opportunity.
